Thanks a ton!

Though I'm still getting the funky text messages in the stock app. I tried to send an email like the directions x2phrack showed, but this version of vvm seems to only want to sent messages to pre-existing contacts. Weird.

Anyhow, I'm just glad to have VVM again.
I usually just keep a titanium backup of VVM and restore it to my AOSP ROM. Never had any problems.

cant get voicemails through vvm app

I am actually running miui which comes with the vvm app, but when i get a voicemail I am first alerted with the weird text thing (i can deal with that) and then i need to check the voicemails through the dial pad.(hold down 1). the problem is it says my phone has provisioned etc but voicemails do not show up in the vvm app. i notice this is talked about a lot, and ive tried sending the voicemail to [email protected] and it doesnt seem to work. any words of advice?

I pulled the sprint visual voicemail apk from the MC3 leak for anyone interested, it's version T.5.3.3.24 - http://d-h.st/dXH
Is the icon showing up like this in the app drawer for you?

Edit: nevermind, it was fixed after I restarted the launcher. Thanks for the pull!

VVM inop on synergy v443

I can link the updated vvm app if anyone wants the newer version since this one doesn't let you update to the new one.
I know this thread is for cm10, but there isn't much discussion here on synergy. I have flashed synergy v443 on my phone. I cannot get Sprint VVM to work. It just says "verifying account info", and never actually does. I installed GO SMS right after flashing the ROM, and actually never got any voice mail. I understand that aftermarket SMS programs might foul the vvm, so I removed the GO SMS and rebooted. Then I installed the most current vvm. Still no worky. I have tried sending a message to the activate address above, built no luck. Any ideas?

I bailed on vvm

I messed around lastnight and thought I had it working. Alas, I did not. If you are going to run Synergy on a Sprint S3, do yourself a favor and just use you mail for voice, and go sms for text. It will save alot of headache and re-flashes.

I actually had CM 10.1 on my phone, but coupled with the lack of functional voicemail and some of the other nice TW features, I opted to revert back to a TW based ROM. Now that I have a solution for Vmail and SMS, I may go right back to CM 10.1. I'm still fond of the Note II camera, gallery, and keyboard and I like the S-voice in Synergy, so we'll see.

As for the voicemail, here is how it played out. The stock SMS does not work on Synergy v443. Once you install a secondary SMS app, it WILL trip the Sprint VVM offline, and it will not work again unless the secondary SMS is un-installed and VVM backed from Titanium, as well as the stock messaging app. I need to have working SMS, so my only option was to use the aftermarket one (I now use Go SMS.) I missed a couple of voicemails over my birthday, as I didn't know I had lost the VVM, and only "found" them after using the call-in feature to voicemail. Calling to access messages on a $700 phone is insane, so I decided to attack this issue. After a half day of messing with it, the conclusion is that You Mail is simple, free, and it also happens to work. So there you have it.

Anyone have the latest vvm .apk? You'll save me a trip to a stock MD4 build to pull it lol.

EDIT: I went and pulled it from MD4 myself. If anyone wants it - it's in the attachment of this post.
