Does anyone use any sort of calibration app to modify their OP3 when on sRGB mode ? I love the old mode because it's fun, but I love the sRGB mode for accuracy which can't be argued with, so I think some sort of small tweak to the sRGB mode would be great. I use xposed, but haven't found any color or temp, tint tweaking module yet.

Color calibration is done at kernel level so as long as OP doesn't update their kernel sources and developers don't make any tweaks with that, it won't be possible.

IMPORTANT!!!

It seems that, at least as some user reports suggest, if one activates sRGB for the first time, yellowish colors CAN result.
But if the device is restarted (with sRGB still on), then, so it seems, the yellowish tint goes away!

All users who complain about the sRGB mode, please test that and report here! Thanks!

It is a matter of getting used to it I guess. I've been using it since the 3.2.0 update and am pretty satisfied with the natural colors.
What I did to filter a bit of the yellow out is using the app Screen Balance from the PlayStore, you should give it a try ;) No root needed

While I also noticed that white looks more yellow-ish, I feel like the accurate white is way more beautiful and less hard on the eyes. But maybe it's just my preference.

Hopefully they update their sources cause right now it seems like sRGB is not working on custom kernels and I'd like to have the option for installing one in the future.

You are getting the correct colours, thats the way it should look. You are used to uncalibrated displays.
I'm sure you're right, but I actually love the bright colours on a phone screen. To me it makes the device seem more "look at me I'm special" :D At the end of the day it just comes down to personal preference. I couldn't sit and stare at a TV screen like this all night, but a phone, yes.

So with the new update sRGB mode was enabled and I personally find it sucky, too much yellowish tint. I mean how does this make the screen better in any way. The colors might seem accurate but the yellow tint is too hard to ignore. Went back to previous mode. How about you guys
Where are you finding these modes? Are you on oxygen 3.1.3? If so why am I not seeing this

Just used a nexus 6p and toggled srgb mode, it doesn't turn the screen f-ing yellow, it tones down all the colours, so oneplus fix this nonsense
Some people have reported this. Turn night mode on and off again and/or restart your device. If the whites are actually yellow it should fix the problem.

Otherwise it's not uncommon that it's your eyes that are used to the old calibration that cause the issue. Load this page on your phone and compare with a piece of paper or anything else (physical object) that is truly white. http://www.color-hex.com/color/ffffff

True that, but comparing with other phones or screens may not yield the best results since every device has its own calibration, so the best comparison i got was with an s6 on basic mode and 6p on srgb. 6p with srgb is so much better. And comparing op3 in srgb after reboot to a plain piece of paper, I don't understand how this is natural color, it's simply no where close to being a white, but it's at least better than the stock calibration

looks much better IMO.

same as on Nexus 6P - made screen much more accurate/normal

you might prefer more saturated colors though. no one's forcing you to use sRGB mode

Yeah, don't compare with another phone. Compare with something white :) And in good lighting preferably. At the moment my papers are more yellow than the screen. But something is obviously different for you than for me if you think it looks yellow. For me with a thick sheet of costruction paper as comparison the sRGB mode is very white.

Not really liking it... It is the same as when I put the color balance slider to high (very right), even enable night mode and rebooting, etc. Still looks too yellow-ish.
