With custom kernel one can customize the sRGB mode anyway. It seems there are individual differences between devices. My OP3 looks even better than with pure sRGB if red is reduced a bit (248), green a bit more (243) and saturation is upped a bit (34). On other devices this may be different.

I have a 100% sRGB display and a 97% AdobeRGB display.
But, when I compared with them, the normal mode was much more closer to those displays than the sRGB mode.
Well I can calibrate on my own anyway... but I have my phone in the Normal Mode.

I like sRGB!
What I personally do is use sRGB mode for 2 weeks then switch back to normal mode for next one week ;)
That way I enjoy best of both worlds :D

sRGB it's healthy for our eyes.
"True" it's bad for our eyes. It's too over saturated, over shiny and it's very tiring for eyes.
It's yellowwish exactly like the Read Mode. Remove that spotted light (white especially) from display.

When I first saw this phone in the store, I didn't like the display and it made me wait for the Pixel disappointment.

Now that I have this phone, I've became used to the screen and really like it. :victory: (I'm not going to lie and say it's better than my Galaxy Tab S2 though.)

For me, the sRGB mode is too yellow. I'd like to see full RGB control in the stock Rom in the future, (after they've sorted the video stabilization. ;))

You must know that sRGB is showing more natural colors the yellowish tint effect is caused because your eyes are used to a screen with higher blue. Also sRGB makes your screen more efficient when it comes to power consumption because it lowers the blue value. On amoled panels blue is the color that consumes the most energy and is the biggest cause of screen burnin. Green consumes less and red is the most energy efficient color. So the brighter the blue content the more power is used. So you should allways try to lower the blue tint and even give it some contrast so that it looks like deep blue, so the blue isnt that bright anymore.

Imo, i think sRGB mode is seriously dope. Once you get through the initial 24 hours and you get used to the colour balance. Its way pleasurable to my eyes as well as the viewing angles get better and stable. Even on high brightness it seems like I'm using a much better display. As being an iphone user i always wanted a great display. And the amoled display on OnePlus 3 seems like one. It seriously makes enormously well blacks. Practically turning the screen off for producing blacks. Is a gem to my battery as well. So all in all. I can pick OnePlus 3 on any given day over the overpriced Galaxy Or Apple series devices. And still stay on par with those flagships out in the market. OnePlus has done its trick with the screen by providing sRGB

Tried sRGB for about 5 days, switched back today, now I like to look at my display again...
It's a matter of taste I guess, but I don't like sRGB even after 5 days...

I truly don't understand the people who prefer the default mode. I'd have sold my phone already without the sRGB mode
