Hello I'm interested to connect ssd 960 evo 512Gb in enclosure through y cable one end in smartphone other to power bank, my phone is xperia xz1. Can this works?

It has USB otg and it is USB 3.1. Im Not sure if host and client is supported simultaneously but tell us your results

it will work if the ssd does not consume to much power (im not sure)
BUT there are external ssds that have m.2 ssd and an usb-c enclosure. this kind consume much less energy and work 100%
