So this phone is basically abandoned, but since I have this phone along with some time(in future), I am working on its resurrection.
So, my project was initially based off of Cyanogen Mod 12.1, then with some libs found here and there, I am compiling RR Lollipop, only to fix various issues that wwwhana's CM12.1 had. Well I fixed, at least, the major bugs (in CM12.1 itself of wwwhana source).
My main target is to reach Pie of RR7 and yes it might take a long time, but who knows, it might be Q when this project gets done :p

Working-
RIL(Wifi, SIM 1, Data etc.)
GPS
NFC
Camera
All sensors except(see not working)

Not Working-
Accelerometer
Brightness Control
Offline Charging

Rest, the ROM is quite stable. And for the love of god, please don't ask me when this would be done, because I myself do not know this. Also, RAM Expander is used to give that 870MB of RAM some courage. If any of you want the same results(and same ROM), tell me, I will update this thread with the instructions.

For now, to keep you guys excited, here are some snapshots of what has been done till now (Even a theme is applied so yay).

Currently I'd love to give you the ROM link, but the ROM contains many unused libs and priv-apps with some Sony Bloat(so size is over 5GB!) so I'd suggest you these steps to get a stable CM experience-

First, flash TWRP from here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-c/development/twrp-2-8-7-xperia-c3-c3-dual-t3277280
Second, flash this ROM- https://forum.xda-developers.com/so...rom-deodexed-bloated-rooted-5-0-2-c3-t3190737
Third, after wiping data, cache and dalvik, flash this ROM(SKIP STEP 2 IF U ALREADY HAVE STOCK OR ANY OTHER ROM INSTALLED) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68389661&postcount=75
Lastly, when the ROM is perfectly booted, flash these images using fastboot,(AND AFTER FLASHING DON'T WIPE DATA,CACHE OR DALVIK OR TRICK WON'T WORK!!!!!) - http://www.mediafire.com/file/0bb73z56j8gblax/D2533-cm12.1-15120-by_HaNAst_aka_wwwhana.7z/file

Now, you will boot CM perfectly with no issues EXCEPT Brightness HAL and Accelerometer Sensor. You can use Kernel Adiutor tweaks for enhanced speed!
This will help you get same results as the ROM I am currently developing + more stable and fast.

The reason more things work is because of the fact that the camera libs and perms from Sony ROM gets replaced when data isn't wiped, thus making the camera, RIL etc. work!

Also, for the status, I'd say things would come out soon(tm) and that soon would be one year or so due to lack of testers and helpers and I'm only a beginner and also just one. But to answer your question, I compiled RR 5.5.4 for our C3 and things came out the same way, only its RR. Next I would compile Pie directly I'd say and that would be Havoc OS this time so yay. But to don't think that I am working regularly on this project and school's a thing! Further it would take a lot of time!

Is this really requires firmware 19.3.A.0.472 installed BEFORE attempting to install this software?

As it turned out this is Deodex Patch for Xperia C3 (D2533). The author said that this will not work on other models. If i have the D2502 (2SIM model) this is not working solution for me?

Update-
An RR Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM is compiled and booted off of the same libs and kernel as of CM LP. It has the same bugs, except now the Brightness settings work.
Now, there is an additional bug that the ROM when booted up, may force reboot at random times, so I'd not share the link unless and until things get stable. My next target is 7.0 and when that gets done, I will release the lollipop, mm and nougat rom in seperate threads and will keep this thread for overall development, regardless of the stability because I understand you guys' curiosity. Also I am very aware about the speed of this project being very slow. The reason being I am working on it all alone so I am in need of testers(1-2). PM me if you want to be one. Just be aware that the project will only complete about around April, 2020 as I DO NOT spend my life in making this project happen.

Don't worry, just flash, don't watch any limitations, it will work just fine! Lest it should be D2533 or D2502, it doesn't matter much!
