I will also add a few issues I've come across in A11 version:
- call recording on demand doesn't work. Only automatic one does.
- when I restart to recovery and go back to the system the battery % changes +/- 20 - 40%
- I live in the area with weak LTE and strong 2G signal. If I set 4G in settings the phone stays on 2G even though LTE is available.
Would be nice to have settings going like: 2G, 3G, 3G-4G, 2G-3G-4G
- no swipe in AOSP keyboard. I know I can install a data hungry gboard/swift.
- it's be nice to have some kind of setup on a fresh installation/factory reset

Thanks for the great ROM anyway :)

Hello, I'm using crdroid v8.7 (it was discontinued these days), I would like to know if I need to go back to stock rom before installing havoc or can I install directly? and another question, does this rom already have camera2api active by default?
Thanks

Hi
I've been using Havoc 5.7 since it was released, and it's a stable and smooth ROM. Though I noticed some minor issues:
  • Show battery percentage toggle doesn't exist in the battery settings.
  • Custom accent colors in wallpaper & style settings are not showing, so it's not possible to choose a different accent color other than the one automatically selected by the OS.
  • Swipe fingerprint for notifications doesn't work properly; Swiping the fingerprint scanner highlights the first item view on the screen.
  • Instagram gets stuck on a blank screen and won't let me log in.

Bug: My location doesn't work, apps like google maps and uber don't work properly because they can't find my location automatically. Is there any way to resolve this? the rom is very good to use.

Havoc OS runs very well and stable.
Flashing is easy and save.
I use the system more than a year now and it satisfies me.

The last view month the support with actual security patches decreases a little.
Version 4.19 (A11) includes the patches up to July 2022.
Development is done voluntarily and focused on A13 now.
Nevertheless version 5 of Hovoc OS based on A12 is a available since a few weeks.

I never had to face a problem like this.
My 2nd try to flash from stock to Havoc was successfull.

For the first flash I use twrp as recovery and the actual Havoc image including the GApps.
It won't boot and I think it depends on a problem with the selected boot slot.

I flash back to stock with the Xiaomi flash tool and then start a 2nd try immediately with Orangefox as the recovery system. For me it works perfectly without any problems.

i followed step.
in twrp wipe cache system data => flash . It say flash to inactive slot-b.
after success its require reboot recovery.
after reboot recovery come to orange fox.
then i press reboot system.
so it boot to logo android one then white cycle, and stuck there
