For me this way works:

1. Boot to Recovery: (OrangeFox)
2. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache
3. Format Data
4. Flash the ROM
5. Reboot to recovery
6. Reboot to system

Requirement: Stockrom and Orangefox installed and bootable.

i tried to use twrp 3.7.0 but never got past error 7, once i used orange fox it started flashing the rom

Sadly no update since July 2022.
Currently nobody knows about the future of HavocOS. An new version was annouced two month ago, but nothing happend. If the situation don't becomes clear due the end of this year I like to switch to different custom rom.

Havoc os is not dead. but It's sadly in hibernation..

Sad. I really like havoc os for my mi a2 lite. of all the aosp roms ive test this one is my favorite
