thanks for your continued great work!

I finally upgraded from your latest 16 image to your latest 17 image and so far haven't found any issues. I also sent a few bucks your way via paypal - hope it's at least enough for a decent meal

The following pieces of information would be great to find on the opening post, in my humble opinion:

1. Link to an installation guide (upgrade from a different version), covering TWRP, what to wipe, when to install gapps, etc.
2. Link to most recent modem binaries
3. Link to Magisk and note on who needs it (mostly rooting)

Disable hardware overlays in developer options

Hi, is there any way to fix the color issues, tried playing around with livedisplay, setting RGB, but to no avail.

The colours in this game "Airport City" has turned largely blue + orange, where its original colour can be seen when at the app switcher interface.

Currently on the latest built as shown on the first page, with a fresh install

yesterday I flashed the version 18 - hoping to get the rid of the stuttering. Even having the newest TWRP installed, the installation aborted with error. Rebooting ended in a bootloop.
Am I the only one with this problem? I installed like all the times before. I tested with other S7 phones - same result. What did I wrong?
Thank you in advance. I hope to get my S7 back on track.....

My Problem with this ROM:

The only bug at this time, is the not working Flash Light on Cam and Echo Hall of Calling.

Cam i use the GCam_5.1.018.177470874.41362666__SG7Exy_V8.2.apk this Cam is working.

But has someone reduce the echo of calling?

No, I did not try the older TWRP version. Thanks for your hint.
But anyway - I made a full wipe and then a clean install.
Now it worked. No idea what it was.

Hey folks, since two days I am also on 17.1!
No Problems at all !!! (Besides the echo problem, but this was already in 16)
I made a clean installation, and added magisk and nano gapps. the apps google did not backup were restored by Buggy Backup. All went smooth, even my car started itself the bluetooth pairing... Several apps (Banking, insurance), which complained before because of "modified android" now work properly!
Actually there was one problem, I noticed today: mobile data is not working. Simply there are no APNs!! I had to create one.
hint: The APN must be stored extra. (open menü again )
As sophisticated cam I use Mod8.3b_IDan_v4.7_test2_fixlos17. But panorama setting crashes.

Does anybody have the final version of this built?

For downloading via mega.nz I need an app plus account (I only like to use foss apps) and Googledrive (besides I switched to Lineage to avoid google) says I should come back in the next 24h or contact the domain admin because too many people downloaded the file?!

That's a shame because using the OS is a nice experience and now the updating is such a pain...
For my other Lineage devices its always androidfilehost wouldn't that be an easier (and much more privacy respecting) choice?

Just a question no big criticism I really appreciate your work (and am donating frequently)!

Google sometimes limits traffic / quota. No more than waiting is possible.
For Mega, regular download is possible without any app or account. Maybe an issue with your browser...

With Mega its possible to download via desktop but not via mobile browser on my device, so if I would like to circumvent downloading it to my pc first, transfer it to the phone and then flash it (instead of just download it to the phone directly) the only option without an account/app seems to force switch my useragent on the phones browser...

Apart from the download-portal issue -
while everything works fine and smooth with the newest update. I never had issue with hearing myself as an echo or sth BUT others calling me are hearing themselves very frequently... With the same SIM in another phone (also Lineage 17) there is no echo. If I understood it correctly the echo-fix.zip in this thread is for when I hear myself right? Or does it fix both directions?

Mobile data not working

Multiple days after upgrading to LineageOS 17, I only now realized that mobile data isn't working :/

Could this be due to an outdated modem firmware? Which one is everyone using? The latest one I found was from September 2019 and for Android 8...

Any other ideas why my mobile data might not be working? Telephone, SMS and Wifi all work fine...

The recommendation is to upgrade to the latest stock ROM before flashing a custom ROM. That way you have the latest modem, radio, etc.

My APN settings say "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user". I'll do some research to see if I can find settings for my provider.

It's weird though, since everything worked out-of-the-box on LineageOS 16 and previous...

Edit: I also just realized that I can't select LTE as my preferred network type, only 2G, 3G and 4G. I wonder if that also indicates a problem...

OK, I think I got it. I still see the "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user" message, but I have mobile data now.

What I think did the trick was:

1. Go to "Access Point Names"
2. From the menu, select "Reset to default"

For completeness' sake, I also did the following:

• Rebooted the phone multiple times
• Removed and re-inserted the SIM card multiple times (sometimes while the phone was running)
• Updated Magisk via the manager

someone who can help me solve the bluetooth problem which has a very bad signal, poor, and which has blackouts that I put my phone in my pocket. in my old rom the bluetooth works excellent,Can i just flash the bluetooth from one rom to another or there is a way to fix it. thanks for your help

Update to my mobile data problem:

• Turns out, mobile data only was up for a very short period
• I now manually added an access point with my provider's settings, since none got configured automatically
• This seems to have worked immediately, i.e. I have mobile data (now for real)
• It seems to me that the message "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user" is shown if there are no access points configured (quite misleading)
