Stable ROM to use?

My phone is running on an AOKP build from last year when it first forked from Cyano9, I think.
The battery draining is terrible now, and I think it's time to update to a cleaner ROM.

Any recommendations, because i777 dev is a lot more behind now that there are so many newer devices.

When I had my i777 Task650's AOKP was my go to. I looked and it appears he still keeps it up to date. Worst case you can just flash something different.

For 4.1.2 i suggest SHOStock ROM
For 4.2.2 i suggest AOKP from Task!
