Stagefright patch for SGH-I337M Galaxy S4

Thought I'd share this for all my fellow Canadians;
Its a flashable zip that include the latest stagefright patches extracted from the recent release; RWC-I337MVLUGOH1-20150904185330.zip (Rogers)
Should work fine for all I337M model phones.
I tested this on Goldeneye rom OD7 and all is well again

Make sure you have a working recovery backup before flashing just in case.

Stagefright fix Ver. 2
Here is another flashable zip that includes the latest stagefright patches extracted from the recent release; I9505XXUHOJ2_I9505OXAHOJ2_DBT Germany available on sammobile. Patches vulnerability CVE-2015-6602. I have tested it personally on my daily driver; Kushan Rom v.8.0 Lite

It seems like it will work fine, all it does is replace lib files. Worst case scenario you’ll end up with a boot loop but if you have a working nanddroid backup then you should be able to restore your phone to working order again.

Files are extracted from a touchwiz 5.0.1 rom, so I would think not.

I tested this on my i9505 running Imperium ROM 9.1 (OF2) and then stock OG1.

Didn't work, stuck on boot animation for over 2 hours, wiped cache/dalvik, no good, replaced the 30 libs in the zip with originals, same thing, even tried manually restoring original 30 libs and set permissions, same thing..

Restored just /system from nandroid, back to normal...

It stuffed 'something' up in /system for me.

Maybe something wrong in your Rom... I am on my own custom Lollipop Rom based HOF2 and works perfectly.

Am running on Albe95's S6 port V3.5 without issue - it does not work on V4 - different file structure I believe

Working on m919 running albe s6 port 3.5

Can you apply this patch with TWRP or does it require the use of ODIN?

Since it's a 'flashable zip' the patch has to be flashed with TWRP.

With the latest TWRP I successfully patched both of my Rogers I337M Galaxy S4s (5.0.1). Thanks to cantenna for the the patch and nunein for the confirmation that TWRP was suitable.

I just used v2 on my ATT S4 i337 OC4 (GE OG7) and worked like a champ! Thank you cantenna!
