There is definitely something going on with the stand by drain. Using the exact same app configuration as with my old htc m8, it ate through 27% of battery during an 8hrs night. I removed every unneeded lg app and don't have any well known drain prone apps (no facebook and such, music players mostly). I'm using the h960a variant.

I got this phone on 05/04/2016. The first thing I noticed out the gate was the battery drain. I mean approximately 1% every 2 to 3 minutes. So, what I did was disable the following apps:
All Amazon Apps, calendar, chrome, cloud print, drive g-mail, go90, google app, google play movies & TV, Google Play Music, Hangouts, NFL Mobile and Slacker Radio. Since then I have no battery drain issues. A matter of fact, when I noticed that the phone stayed at 100% for approximately 5 minutes, I actually thought something was wrong.
Now, I am not sure which of these apps was the offensive app, but I not longer have the battery drain issue. Also, I am a Microsoft guy so, I replaced all of the apps that I disabled with MS apps, such as grove, one drive and office. Hope this helps.

Back to 4% over night, it was a one night problem, probably some backup as I leave wifi on all the time

I have gmail, whatsapp, google play, + widgets for calendar, fotmob and a pair of "beautiful widgets" (time and weather), always on too :good:

If you have location enabled, try to set it to battery saving mode (disabling the gps), that was what was eating my battery. I'm now getting 5/8% drain during the night. Shame the GPS implementation isn't better.

On Battery usage Phone idle is almoust always the first battery consumer.... tried many things, including factory reset... and nothing.... This really really sucks, same aplications as on G3 with same settings, and v10 has more than 50% worse battery life, cant be possible.

Sleep most of the time 6 hours, drain is approx 3 procent in 7 hours, WIFI on and synchronizing mail and other apps.
Standby time is amazing compared to my Motorola Nexus 6

MM a bit better :good:
Well, I had awesome idle time on 5.1. After update to 6.0 it started draining like hell. Of course the fluidity of the system is awesome, one of the fastest android phones. But battery in idle is awful. Don't tell me that I need to do factory reset, because I did it when I unlocked my bootloader. It's something wrong with the system. Funniest thing is that better battery stats is showing 89% deep sleep...

I never did factory reset, and battery on idle is even better than lollipop, 3% over night...
