I am using a H960 Europe version and I have it for two weeks now. On the first day I installed al my apps, and I set up all my settings. I am using few apps (FB, messenger, viber, whatsapp, gmail, tapatalk). Wi-fi is on during a day only, data just sometimes, bluetooth always on. Second screen is on only on when main screen is off. First ten days with this kind off use, it was fine, Battery lasted day and a half, with only 5-8% drain overnight. But last few days i get 30-35% drain overnight and over day when phone is not using i loose 5-10% over one hour. Bigest consumption is Phone idle and it is aound 52%. When I add all mAh that is used from battery settings I get aroun 1500 mAh and never more, don't know why ...

What is there to do ?

- I will disable apps like google music, google movies, google search, google photos, dont even use these.
- wi-fi is set to always on
- Passpoint is checked off

Is there anything else I can do ?? Thank you.

I lose 1-2% overnight WITH second screen on all night!

However, I bought a larger capacity third party 3500 mAh battery from ebay, same size as the original!

That said, in the US, you can buy upto 3800 mAh battery which is slim and fits as normal in the phone.

The only thing which you can do is wait till Nougat and pryaing for fix from LG. I have exactly the same problem. It is draining even without any app right after factory reset.

Nope, I resolved my problem by disabling google apps I don't use (google music, google movies, google search, google photos) and I unchecked things for syncing in my google account. Now I can get 40 hours of light to normal use of battery without a problem, with medium to heavy use I get one day without any problem. Before disabling these google apps, battery drained 15-20% in one hour without even using my phone :(

Now I am happy, and everything is working fine for me :D

My AT&T LG V10, on a daily basis, loses 20 % of battery overnight. There is no app that stays awake, my second screen remains off when the display is off. Help me out
Disable all google apps you don't use (play movies, play music, docs, slides and so on) ... I had the same exact problem, only mine was more like 35% overnight, and olso nothing was visible i battery consumption screen, but after i disabled google apps and other bloatware (i left things I use, like google+, gmail and so on)...

Email and other sync schedules? Wifi scanning? Screen off time. VZW has something called DTIgnite that should be disabled, but I don't know if ATT has it. GPS on battery save? BT off?

Yeah obvious stuff, but that's what gets us sometimes.

Just adding a quick data point. Just bought a T-mobile branded V10 for my daughter, but using it on Cricket (AT&T). Updated to the latest MM available. Went through and disabled a bunch of bloat, but kept some Google apps like music, sheets, docs. Sync, location, BT are off. Small screen, wifi, data are on. The phone is pure stock, not rooted. I disabled volte and WiFi scanning something rather in the advanced settings.

What was interesting is that battery drain was massive during the first couple days. The first night it lost like 60%. I was really worried, started reading this forum :) According to gsam and system panel the drain was coming from system apps.

Then over the subsequent two days the drain disappeared completely. Just to be clear, I did not do anything special. Maybe disabled a couple more apps. There was zero drain both during the day (when doze may or may not kick in) and at night (when it should kick in). Last night we took the phone off the charger around midnight @100% and it was still @100% at 6 in the morning. Amazing stuff, considering my daughter installed a bunch of sketchy games that are spamming notifications, etc. Will report back if anything changes.
