So are you getting cdma to work on verizon? I didn't quite understand. It's so weird to me how much the media and people talk about how the u11 doesn't support cdma, when it supports it just fine. Or am I missing something?

there is no issue, it's normal to have it there because the cellular reception is draining your battery.any idea to fix Cell stanby drain battery problem??
but i too high compare to other phonethere is no issue, it's normal to have it there because the cellular reception is draining your battery.
I say the same thing. I have had 2- U11's and my first U11 had much better cell standby drain. It kinda sucks cause it seems I was getting double the battery life on my 1st U11.but i too high compare to other phone
I would wake up from a full charge and be under 70%. I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked so I am sending mine back for warranty repair. Hoping they send me a different one cause mine seems hardware related.Almost a month with my HTC u11, and I've seen it drain just 0.5% per hour lately during sleeptime ( cell on, mobile data off, wifi always on, location always on and high performance setting ).
Can't complain about it at all!
3% in 6h35m of sleep.
that drain is too much. try by closing all your apps before going to sleep and see if the drain is the same. also probably you know that a bad signal can cause drains like that.I would wake up from a full charge and be under 70%. I tried everything. My setup on my HTC phones have been the same for years. I had the 4gb model first and it would last at least a day and a half. Same apps same signal. Yeah like I said, I originally had an HTC U11 4gb model on Verizon and cause of the Verizon issues I sent it back at the 30 day mark to get a refund and reordered the 6gb. My first battery life was amazing, the battery life on my second one is almost dead when I get home from work. I think it's hardware related.I'm having the same issue with cell standby on my dad's phone. Very weird though, since we're both on AT&T and in the same area, but his cell standby is averaging 60+% usage while mines is always under 20%. I could go as long as two full days on a single charge with moderate use and he's struggling to get through a full day on a charge. Not sure what the issue is. we're both on 1.28 and I just can't figure out what's wrong with his phone.
Maybe have him turn airplane mode on when he sleeps or something to see if there is still drain. Then I would say it's hardware related, maybe the cores aren't working properly. I don't know, I just hope my phone comes back from warranty replacement working as good as my first one did.I'm having the same issue with cell standby on my dad's phone. Hello , has your issue solved by warranty repair ?If it does maybe I will have a try on it soon. And ,is your phone changed for a new one or just a repair ?I tried everything. I had horrible drain, I would lose like 30% over night when it was supposed to be in deep sleep. Nothing would fix it. I'm on Verizon so I also had the permanent signal loss issue. So I sent my phone in for repair for two reasons. I pushed for a replacement at first but they refused. They had my phone for 2.5 months and returned it to me but nothing was fixed, just like I figured, all they did was run the RUU and relock it. I was pissed, so they automatically offered me a refund or a replacement, I chose replacement cause I knew this phone had awesome battery life from my first device experience. Now I am getting amazing battery life, 30 hours with 8.5 hours sot consistently. I am very happy.Hello , has your issue solved by warranty repair ?If it does maybe I will have a try on it soon. And ,is your phone changed for a new one or just a repair ?
alway turn on airplane mode, from 1AM-8AM drain 3%
my htc10 drain 0-1% only![]()
You may have the same problem I had, 3% an hour when it should be in deep sleep is too much. My phone stays in deep sleep a little over 90% of the time when the screen is off, probably under .5% an hour. I couldn't be happier with my battery life now.Hello all!
I just cant understand this Android thing. We should have a tool to know what is draning the batery.
My HTC U11 is a dual sim 128Gb 6 Gb ram, all original oreo.
And on standby screen of, I loose almost 3% per hour...
I see the grafics on the batery and it happens 2 strange things, some times it stays awake withou deep sleep for ours and ours, on the other hand other times when i use it it looks like its on deep slepp.
anyway i cant understand so much batery drain withou using it.....
any ideas?
many thanks.

Repair time turnaround may have gotten better since then, it was during the hurricane in Texas where their warehouse was plus they had a fire so I think they are shipping repairs overseas at that time. But I would push for a replacement, let them know, you already tried the RUU and it did not fix it.
They automatically placed an order for a new device, just like if you were purchasing it but they wouldn't send it till they received the old device. I almost had to pay for shipping costs again until I asked for a paid shipping label.

If you tried running an RUU and the problem continues I would definitely get a replacement. I'm very happy I did. But they may force you to do warranty repair first. I would not make it easy for them.
