USB board and standby battery drain

Hi. I changed battery 2 times, but that doesn't resolved problem. Than I changed USB port with new battery, but I'm sure that the problem was USB port. I bought original port, but not on eBay.

Hi all,
changing the USB port/board fixed the heavy drain issue for me as well.
Thanks for helping!

I am now at 0.9% per hour at display off determined with app AccuBattery/Digibites (some 15% per hour at display on).
Before replacement it was 6.5% per hour at display off (and some 21% per hour at display on).

Feel free to share your numbers. Still interested if the 0.9% per hour is an expectable value.

Regards,
R.

Hi there,
since two weeks my U11 struggles with a sudden battery drain problem.
Until then, my battery would easily last 1-2 days, now it only lasts about 8-12 hours.
At first I thought that some apps (especially google services) or Android Pie's adaptive battery were responsible, so I try pretty much every suggestion I could find on the internet.
Since that did not work out, I decided to go for a factory reset.
However, the problem still exists. I do not even know whether it's a software or a hardware problem:
In Android's battery usage, it says that apps used 58%, the major contributor "Google Play Store" only using 3% though. How does that make any sense?
Before the problem started, accubattery reported a battery health of 96%, now it reports 77% (based on 3 sessions only) and a high discharging speed of about 7%/h even if the screen is turned off.

Unfortunately it seems like I cannot upload pictures here, so please check out the screenshots here:

Hi,
similar to my case. I also tried to find a software reason for quite some time before I replaced the USB and charging board which solved my issue.
For some reasons this USB board seems to be sensitive to damages or failures - and if it happens it starts discharging.
I also experienced 6-7% per hour.

R.

hi, i have the same problem. 7 days ago I replaced the battery at my u11 because it didn't last that long, but the anomaly remained. there is always a high consumption of the mobile network standby item and I can't make more than 3 hours of screen on. So I would also be interested in replacing the USB circuit, where did you buy it?

Hi,
purchased at a German supplier.
https://www.ng-mobile.de/htc-u11-usb-c-ladebuchse-flex-kabel/platine

but there are plenty of possibilities.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...leDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=htc+u11+usb+charging

The pretty good availability indicates for frequent issues with exactly this board. I wouldn't expect fakes being around since volume is still not high enough to be rewarding...

Hi, I bought the card, I replaced it and the microphone doesn't work, so I reassembled the old one. I was repaid, now I will buy a new one.

Good morning, I can confirm that I have finally changed the circuit and everything works but unfortunately the standby consumption is always high. I'm sorry because I don't want to change U11 but so I can't even make 3 hours of screen use.
