Yes, I have just about the same stats as you. I think we were just out of luck to get bad batteries, but I keep in mind it's still better than to have one of the Note 7 faulty batteries :fingers-crossed: #fireworks :cowboy:
Tomorrow morning I go to the closest Samsung Service Center and I'll let you know how this will be handled.
I don't think they have any of those in the US :crying:

Can you check the following links? At first sight it looks like they have a really strong customer support in the US, I'm sure they'll find a solution very fast if you call or visit them!
Repair centers: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/locator/asc_locator.jsp
Contact by phone, chat, e-mail, remote support...: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/ :good:
after trying a few more zip codes I found one more than an hour away at a Best Buy:rolleyes:, but note 8 isn't listed in the supported models. I'll try the Samsung chat when I can get on a computer

My phone sleeps like a baby. 4% drain overnight, connected to gear s3. My s8+ use to lose about 10% overnight by comparison. I know that most people are all about SOT but standby matters more to me.

Mine is between 4% to 7% overnight (8 hrs) with AOD off. My wife's S8+ is actually better with only 2% loss overnight. It's not consistent tho.

Well, it wasn't handled at all... the so called "Samsung Repair Center" in Bern was completely useless - first of all it was not Samsung but a company having a contract with Samsung, and then all they knew/wanted to do was to flash the same firmware again. As for hardware tests and replacements they just send the phones to the Samsung Center in Zurich... So I will go there myself some day as I don't want to spend a few weeks waiting for them to send back the phone

That's how it is around here. Nearest place is two hours away, and they don't even repair the note 8 yet because they haven't received the training. Even if there was something wrong they would just mail it away anyway.
A few years ago I got to travel and visit family in Schweiz it is such a beautiful place, I can't wait until I get to go next.

Have your installed another battery app yet? I now use gsam, I really like how it shows the battery usuage. Accubattery is another stats app if you don't like that gsam. Mine seems to be performing better now.. not sure why, I wish I had been running gsam when it was performing so poorly. I hope it keeps up ?

I find it beautiful too, I only moved in Lausanne last year and I don't regret it at all :)
GSAM shows that Phone radio is the one sucking my battery during the night! After having done some googling it looks to me like it's quite an old bug, even some S6 devices have it...
Some say that disabling VoLTE calls solves the problem. We'll find out pretty soon if it's true...

You shouldn't have to. I have it enabled and don't have that draining at all

They say it depends on the LTE provider and on the signal strength, so maybe all Note 8's would behave like mine if they had my sim card and if they were in the same spot. But I won't buy another one just to confirm this :)

How did you found this out? Mine does not even show up in the stats, does it hide under some other process?

I'm also interested in how you know this? I use outlook as my client.
when used the phone first time
wanted to test how the battery compared to my s8+, got almost 2h 50 sot only and the phone is dead
viewed the stats and email was 38% even tho i did only setup the email but never used it or never used the app
after disabling it could get 4h 15m - 4h 40m sot

So yeah, I'm noticing with AOD turned off my standby battery life has improved very noticeably. It's a neat feature but it's not with the 9% on average drain I've been getting.

Mine is already unbranded so there must be another problem than the carrier software... I just made a factory reset, charged the battery to 100%, installed whatsapp and disabled a few apps and the 2nd SIM and stopped the wifi and data connection. Now I'll send it to sleep (I hope it listens!) and I'll post a battery usage screenshot tomorrow morning :fingers-crossed:
Looks like we have the same problem unplugged mine around 01.00am got up at 06.00am and puff around 20 percent just gone. Below are my stats. I want to mention that I have the same problem with the s8+ plus. Could it be a backup gone wrong ?

Well, for me the culprit was the VoLTE calls!
I disabled it yesterday (in settings/connections/mobile networks) and then I lost only 3% over the night instead of almost 30%!
