Full charge last night. Turn-on ultra power save. Woke up with 85%..somethings definitely not right.
What is your phone model, brand and software version? After updating to the latest firmware I recommend that you do a factory reset and install all the apps manually (do not restore backups).

Actually while sleep the battery almost stay the same
But did your battery start sleeping at 100% or at a lower percentage, for e.g. 80%? I find that during sleep when the battery is fully charged at 100%, after a night's sleep, the battery hardly changes. but i lose about 5% over 8 hours if the battery is not full. Wifi on, mobile network connected (not on airplane mode), location high accuracy, wifi scanning on, location history on. BLA-L29 8.0.0.118 (C636)

Mate 10 pro standby drain

10-15% drain during night (8 hours of sleep from 95% to 80% in the morning, something is not right!!
I experience the same thing, I'm not sure is it because of the new update I seems to discover my phone are using more battery than usual. I then charged my phone to 100% and went to sleep with:
WiFi on, mobile data on, location off, nfc off, bt off, and after I woke up the battery has been drained to 7x%!!
Current version: BLA-L29 8.0.0.126 (C636)

Eh.. I don't know if this is your phone only because I charge mine before I sleep and then find it at 100% or 99% in the morning and keep in mind that I don't use WiFi, even when available due to having unlimited 4G!

I am on latest 128 firmware on Mate 10. Went to sleep at 100%. WiFi on. BT, location and mobile data off. 7 hours later, still 100% battery. Zero drain and still had lockscreen notifications on lockscreen as WiFi on while sleeping.

Update: this night i lost only 4% :D i will give it some time ^^
4% overnight is very good, assuming you sleep 8 hours, this accounts for 0.2%/h drain which is excellent. for example if you block whatsapp from the battery optimizations to not run in the background you will probably lose 0% overnight. whatsaspp is a pretty big drainer.

Today l got a sudden drop in battery while the 10pro was lying around. In battery stats the messages app was on top even though I just used it briefly to respond to one text message. Anyone else seeing this? I've forced closed the app and cleared its cache. Let's see how it goes...

No improvement after a restart, cache clearing and reboot of phone. Android messages still gulping juice. I've uninstalled it for now and trying to become friends with emuis message app :)

So tonight, I tried it - went for 7 hours and lost just under 2% - went from 99% to 97% - but quickly dropped to 96% within a few minutes. Coming from a phone which lost 20% overnight it's a revelation!

Hello all! New to the forums and new to Huawei as well. Got a regular mate 10 around 5 days ago and loving it!

First 2 days battery really lasted a long time, around 7-8 hrs SOT with heavy usage (gaming, wifi, 4g, gps}, on the 3rd day I noticed quick standby drain which I did not experience on the 1st 2 days. Recalling it now, maybe a loss of 2% battery per hour at night with battery saver on and wifi, 4g turned off.
Is this normal? I actually did a factory reset but it still seems to be the same.

I've read that the AI takes time to optimize battery use but I would like to get the opinions/suggestions of the experts on this forum especially after reading the almost zero standby drains on here.

Thank you in advance!

Build is ALP-L29 8.0.0.128 (C636)
