Standby drain

When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018)'s battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

There are days when I had experienced close to 40% baterry drain (I don't use wifi) . On an average 10 to 15% drainage happens. Will double check this.
I have stopped using all good to have sensors and software features so that battery drainage is reduced. Hoping future software updates makes battery usage efficient.

Have managed to get satisfactory performance from battery now but at the cost of disabling Bixby, always on display and many sensor driven features including face unlock

I have observed Battery drain before as well as after Oreo update on Samsung A8+.
From 12 midnight to 6 AM, I have observed at least 7-8% drop in battery level. It also happens even if phone is in battery saver mode. At this time my phone is in Do Not Disturd mode and AOD is also disabled. Any solution for this issue?

My earlier handset Moto Z Play was dropping only 1% at night for same duration.
