When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Moto G6's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

The standby drain of Moto is not minimal compared to other budget phones in the price range. Even though the os itself doesn't use much battery it allows other third-party apps to use battery. For example paytm used 28percent battery but had zero on screen time. The inbuilt Outlook app is a battery drainer

I lose roughly 10% battery life over 7 hours with 0 screen on time. I'm running the Project Fi version of the phone, a little disappointed.
Give the app "Naptime" a try. It forces your phone to go into Doze quicker, saving some battery life when the screen is off. If I leave my phone unplugged overnight I lose around 5% in 8 hours. I've been running it for two weeks now and haven't noticed any issues with functionality.
