Question Status bar icon <...> which I have never seen (what is it)?

Today, I was in office and wanted to charge my phone with the desk USB-C cable which is connected to a docking station.
The cables are normally used for office laptops to charge them and to connect to the internal company network.

After connecting the cable, my phone started fast charging.

Then after a while a status icon appeared which I have never seen before.

The icon is a small "smaller than" sign, followed by 3 dots, followed by a "larger than"sign.

So the icon (literally) was:

Anybody knows what this is?

Probably that not all notifications / icons fit on the status bar, so you have to slide down to see the rest maybe.

Might help to post a screenshot but i agree with above, it sounds like an overflow icon if it doesn't have a linked notification.

If ethernet is connected to your docking station, ur phone will see it.

Yes indeed, the docking station has ethernet.
