Hey folks!

I tried to come up with a way to use one of the Steering Wheel control momentary switches in a resistor ladder , to also control a separate device.

Some background info on the project:
Using a Teyes CC3 360 Radio with the 360 Camera system
Gauge cluster uses a 10.25" Joying radio which is running RealDash app for gauge info, and it doubles as a secondary display for more cameras

For my project, this meant a "Front" Camera switch and a "Rear" Camera switch in the steering wheel controls. For example: You press the Front switch , the Stereo will display the 360 System's Front view and the Gauge cluster LCD screen will display a Front view camera.

Since the momentary switches are part of the resistor ladder, you cannot just separately control accessories from each individual switch. This is where my idea comes in to play.

The momentary switch would instead supply a 12v Tigger to pin 86 of a relay (or I could make it supply ground to pin. 85). The Relay then connects its common pin (30) to the resistor/ground side of the resistor ladder and the N.O. pin (87) connects to the Kwy 1 /Key 2 wire.

In theory this looks like it should work, but I don't have 100% confidence as my knowledge is limited. This is why I am posting here hoping that some more knowledgeable people can look this over and give their opinion.

I think, this posting would be better hosted in https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/fyt-android-head-units.12445/, because they are talking exactly about your Teyes CC3. May be ask a mod to move it over there.
