yes it is a previewIs it Official CM10 or preview? Is there no need to root? Thanks.
That is not good way to do it. Read this:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1810954. Temp/Fake CWM messes with the kernel u are using (even safe ones). I superbricked my phone that way by accidentally hitting wipe while still in Temp CWM.(Thankfully grey retailer replaced it):good: I was on stock LQ2 at the time.I might be missing something, or it is some other problem? I've flashed a safe Abyss Kernel using temp CWM beeing in stock LRG 404, but phone didn't boot behind the Sam logo. I then flashed stock LRG image with PC Odin and it returned to same (no data loss).
Is Abyss kernel flashable from ICS? Its not clear from threads Ive read...

Trell is absolutely right here. If you are on an unsafe kernel, or not rooted yet, all you have to do is:There is no point in going back to Gingerbread. There are plenty of safe ICS kernels to flash from. Never EVER have I gone back to gingerbread, and I've tried almost every ROM in this forum.
And this is pertinent to step-by-step installation instructions how exactly...?I don't know if you have this, but seems that CM10 has a problem with dictionary, AOSP uses only English language, if it does download any other it still doesn't work? any thoughts?

the OP had made this tut for this express purpose.I've one question to op. To return to stock from cm10, why should we flash a stock gb ROM? Can't we flash a stock ics ROM? The latest DDLR6 for example!
