Anyone tested with a non-OOS rom?
Would test myself, but spent too much time getting AICP 13.0 (oreo) set up after a handful of issues. Don't really fancy wiping the phone and installing everything yet again, but this was one of my favourite mods for OOS!

Works on 4.5.14

I would like to report that finally this mod works on my OP5 as well, after the Nov 2nd update of Dorian.
Previously, when I was on 4.5.13 I had tried all the above from the beginning of the thread my never managed to get it to work, but now it does fine!
Thank you very much for your time, God bless you! :)

It's the TWRP one, which was posted couple posts ago by Dorian.
Yes it's the official 4.5.14 which was installed along with Magisk.
It is worth it for sure but need to raise the volume manually of the headset speaker to be loud enough, but no comparison with the normal mono speaker of the OP5

In fact, the headset speaker doesn't sound a lot by default. If you put your ear close enough you will hear that now it produces sound, but it is around 5% loud compared to the bottom speaker.
You can install the app Viper4Android that DorianX offers along with the stereo speakers mod (install it via TWRP) and then activated it via Magisk. After rebooting the phone, you can go to Viper4Android,->Phone Speaker->Master Power (ON) + Master Gate (Limiter) increase the Output Gain.
It worked for me but, still I am not impressed with the loudness of the Phone Speaker, obviously it is not meant to be used as a normal speaker for media consumption, but still provides enough sound to fill in the front side of the screen which sounds directly to the viewer, compared to the single (before the mod) bottom speaker. (please somebody to correct me If my procedure is wrong or not the ideal one).
Hope the above are helpful enough ;)

One question for Dorian:
Every time I start the Viper app, it asks for the V4A driver installation. I installs it properly, asks for reboot but every time after the reboot it asks again for the driver. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you :)

Really weird thing happened to me. Have been using the mod for a couple of weeks, then it like 'disappeared'. Reinstalling, using both Magisk and TWRP, reverting to stock, full wiping, changing kernels, ROMs, nothing helped. Do you guys have any ideas?

Anyone have issues with the audio while recording video in Snapchat and Instagram? After flashing revert and replacing stock xml file I'm still not able to record video in these apps but camera app is fine. It is like a loud crack at the start of the video and then silence. I've removed any magisk modules related to audio and even dirty flashed the OTA but still having this issue.
