No way, that was all kinds of difficult. I primarily got lost while trying to place the gtab 6.66 feet away from the box...then i clicked re-calibration on the gtab screen and it did it so quickly i panicked and tried stabbing the gtab with the butter knife. I missed, cause my aim stinks, the chicken ran out the door and got hit by a car, but apparently my gtab is been re-calibrated. I just don't know how to prove it...

Eat More Chicken...

Thanks all for the humor and the tip on the recalibration. One question: how often would this need to be run. It was hard enough to get the first live chicken.....

Thank you for this useful app! It made all the difference. Before, I hated using the device because the screen was so unresponsive compared to my other android devices. Now it's fluid!

I've been keeping it in place as I've found recalibration necessary more than once.;)

I used pheasant, and it still works perfectly. Massive thanks for this. This should really be stickied, both for usefulness and sheer entertainment.

You guys rock.

The app installs great and does its thing. How do I know it worked though? The screen was responsive to begin with! I did not notice any difference.

This is a Calibration app that you can launch from the app drawer instead of the crazy calibration.ini method that has been floating around since day one. This app was originally discovered by BumbleBee. The orignal app was called "moduleap" so if you picked it up while in our IRC chat room then uninstall it and download this.

I have modded the TouchScreen calibration app. It is easier to use now... includes a launcher icon renamed to be easier to understand it's purpose.... removed the ERROR messages etc.
Again uninstall the old moduleap app if you installed it recently.

Make sure you don't touch the screen during recalibration.

THIS WILL WORK ON ANY ROM

Download: http://vegantab.gojimi.com/download/TouchRecalibrate.apk

As Always Enjoy!
I know I am missing something very simple but when I download the file it keeps coming down as a zip not an apk. Now it could also be because I don't have any ducks or chickens. Can someone help? Thanks

Ahhh, good news. I snagged a goose just before it crossed. I did everything by the book. The goose is not happy though. My screen is now calibrated. :)

I don't understand this. I have used this app and i really can't tell a difference. I can tell a difference right after I flash a new rom. The screen is very sensitive right after a fresh rom, but then after i turn it off and back on one time it is running laggy again. I would write it off as just hardware related but with it working occasionally i just don't get it.

1.Download app
2.Find a live chicken
3.Buy some super glue
4.Buy a coat for the chicken
5.Pluck the chicken
6.Put new coat on chicken and turn it loose
7.Locate the box your GTab came in
8.Super glue chicken feathers to GTab box (may void your warranty)
9.Install app on your GTab
10.Fill GTab box with ketchup
11.Find a butter knife
12.Set Gtab on floor
13.Place Gtab chicken feather box on floor (place drop cloth under box)
14.Gtab box must be 6.66 ft from Gtab
15.Open app on Gtab
16.Hit Calibrate button
17.Without touching GTab quickly run over to GTab box and stab it with the butter knife 5 times
18.Spin in circle 3 times to the left and then 4 times to the right
19.Walk calmly to your Gtab
20.Observe it....DON'T TOUCH IT YET
21.Clean up the Gtab box mess and wash your hands
22.You may now retrieve your GTab and enjoy its new vodoo calibration fix

:D

Ok, I am new to this, but I blindly followed these instructions and am a little confused on a few of the details.

Step 4. Walmart could not help me with clothing for a chicken....so I used a baby bib
Step 10. The gtab won't hold ketchup....I just poured it on the top

In the box....duh...too much beer...no wonder it didn't work.

Step 17. The butter knife did not Pierce the box...

All turned out good, possibly the steps above were not to critical?

Btw....if anyone cares, this is freaking hilarious. .....
