Stock battery replacement time frame?

So about a year ago, without warning, my Nexus 4 phone got so hot I had to throw it out of my car, the battery blew up like a balloon, and it blew the back off the phone and shattered the case. Really don't want to go through that again, so I was wondering if anyone had to replace the stock battery on their Moto G (2015) yet because it died, and at which point?

after using two years battery of my g3 got dead and i got it replaced within a day he took 700 indian rs for replacement

official service centre doesn't charge 700 ..service centre charges 1350 for battery replacement..am also in a idea of doing it..!!
