[STOCK][C650X][4.3] Update to 10.4.B.0.569 [Root & XZDualRecovery][DE-/ODEX]

So all is working fine root + xposed , so no more reason to wait ?

1 Question though why do I need to have DualRecovery to flash this ? Can't I just flash it in CWM as in eXistenz 4.2 ROM ? any reason using DualRecovery, Sorry I am noob on sony phone.

In any guide you write you must make some 'assumptions' ... and as we all know:

"Assumption is the mother of all f*ckups!"

So, to make sure my guides are as accurate as possible, I tend to stick to that which I know to work best. In this case it is TWRP, because it's easier to turn off your device in it compared to using CWM.

PhilZ Touch would do just fine though, it also has a 'power off' function, which the vanilla CWM lacks.

It's basically a support issue: If you use something else then the guide recommended recovery, you are on your own when it fails for some reason

Ok I just followed the instruction and did exactly what was said. And I have some issues.

First thing, my first boot (before flash Deodex) was not slow as indicated in the OP and said by some users, it jsut booted in 30 sec and started optimizing apps, Then I start to get FC on Gapps non stop I clicked OK and it keep coming till I had a black(light on) sceen, I can access drop down menu and go to setting and about I see that I have 4.3 but Baseband is indicated as unknown. I can go to lock screen , but home screen is not showing.

Then I flashed Deodex zip and cleared Dalvik Cache , again the boot was fast like 30 sec and again it started optimizing, but still same issue Gapps FC then black home screen, I can access drop down notification bar and go in settings and i see 4.3 but BB is still Unknown.

Now I don't know what to do ? Do i have to restart again, is there something that went wrong ?

I had eXistenz ROM , can that be the problem ? And why don't we wipe before flashing this ROM ? isnt that the issue because I feel liek it is trying to load stuff and app of my 4.2 eXistenz ROM and that is creating the mess.

OK i started from scratch, Flashed complete .67 then .423 Kernel, then Root then Flash .67 Kernel, then flashed 569 as in OP and all is working great with no bug no FC I think problem is eXistenz ROM which have too many modification to work correctly with 4.3. So if people get in toruble do like me start from new base, like this no problem

Now I miss all goodies of eXistenz I hope some mod will come did anyone tested any Mod and list them that work ?

What did you do to get it to work correctly?

Maybe the same fix can be applied to some others which caused issues with deodexing....

Anyone know any Mod or Xposed Module that Let me have Complete list of Toggles when swapping 2 fingers to drop down from top ? I installed xperia flip setings module, but this one complety transform in AOSP and remove the Quick stock toggles from top and I want to keep Quick toggles. In eXistenz ROM we had this, 1 finger swap from top Stock toggle and notification, double finger Swap from top full toggles list. Which Mod is that ?

if you open zip you will notice that it is an apk file not flasable zip, you just have to copy and replace your existing settings apk (do back up of it) and then set correct permissions , same as actual setting app. I Es file explorer to do so, but you can use any Root explorer.
