Have installed according to the instruction, but root is not there...

I can see the Superuser app, it says the binary must be updated...If I selected recovery install, then it gives Install. error

Then I keep getting "Read Error. Try Again". This error stopped after swiching off NFC...Adb logcat message

Unless you want to unlock your bootloaders, yes... I'm afraid that's a step you need to take...
Pffff.., what's the problem, unlock bootloader is not a problem anymore :D Right?, I unlock and flash without downgrade and rooting, to long for me and actually a unlocked bootloader I will need for me in near future! :p

Did that work? I always get an error when updating through recovery. Also, when you were in recovery, did it ask you anything about root or the recovery disable?

Lets see what people's experiences are with the existing package, once confirmed working, I will release the base zip for devs to use :)
Well, that's good news for us.:D
But at this moment, should we take a snap till the SuperSU-related or kernel-related issues on remounting /system had been fix correctly?

And, ask a question about supersu.apk included in the upgrade-to package. Would any chance that move it out from /system to just become a user apps? Or even not included in the flash package, then let me install it though Google Play later? Because there are some games once they detected superuser apps in /system then refused to run.

P.s. Would any one give the reason for demaenized SuperSU (or su execution file?) is it for Selinux requirement in android 4.3?

Try "normal install" in the superuser app. Don't do recovery install. Try and report back.
I don't have this option. Only recovery. And I have no recovery.

I'm unlocked.
I'm on 4.3.
I've flashed the doomlord kernel
Went to recovery.
Flashed this rom (without wiping)
Shutdown.
Flashed minimal ftf.
Reboot.

No recovery and no root.

Just an advise to all hungry installers:

I messed up my system installing this. this is an UPDATE, and I installed this over another dev ROM. as I had a different Root su, I lost my root.

I now Have Superdu and superusuario, I can't update any of them beacuase they're in conflict, so I can't install a recovery. is there anything that I can do to recover the instalation without restarting all over from JB 4.2.2 ftf?

So what about c6902?

4.3 has been release only few days..the devs would need couple of days to cook the ROM, test it and later release it for the users to use. If you are eager to try, then you can try pinging them to be a beta tester..or flash the official FTF
