Hi, I re-enabled the camera2 API after the latest security patch released a couple of days ago and started playing around again with the various Google Camera ports to find the best one(s). Comparing photos between the stock camera app and the ones with Google Camera I can't find big differences anymore.

Differences were HUGE before the update, both on details and on general quality (especially in low-light environments). Now the quality of the stock camera (com.android.camera version 2.0) seems to be very near to the Google Camera. Maybe is it using camera2 API, if available? Or am I crazy? :p

I think you're crazy :p Stock app doesn't use Cam2API. Your issue might be related to focus issues on Gcam. Try 16:9 on Photo Mode then take a photo, so you might see the difference :good:
