I was rooted on stock 30d.
I recently tried flashing a new ROM using TWRP 3.1.1 and it borked. I lost TWRP and root.
I used KingoRoot to regain root, then flashed TWRP 3.0.2. I then restored a previous NANDROID to regain permanent root.
However, when I restored the previous NANROID, I got "Unable to locate '/firmware' partition". The rest of the restore worked however and I'm once again rooted with TWRP.
I flashed a 30g ROM and replaced SuperSU with Magisk. I've reflashed TWRP 3.0.2 also.
However, whenever I'm doing a NADROID backup, I'm still getting the :Unable to locate '/firmware' partition" at the beginning and end of making the NANDROID.
Everything seems to work, but I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to do a total reload of firmware and the works.
If I flash these files thru TWRP, then TWRP and Magisk, will I retain root and also have a total reset of firmware, partitions, etc?
I'm thinking no, that I have to use LGUP to flash the kdz, but am hoping I'm wrong.
