Special thanks:
@tecknight for supplying the rooted boot.img, a root method for the Aristo 2, and for fixing up my Custom Rom. Alot of the credit really should go to him, because without his help my effort would have been useless. So again thank you tecknight.

So i downloaded and Flashed via TWRP after wipe and it bootloops, if i flash stock boot.img ontop of it i manage to get the rom to boot but then i get a lot of app has quit working messages gor different system apps before inevitably the rom reboots and does it all over again. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I'm going to try to replace the apps force closing with ones from stock rom.

Edit: So after re-packing with boot.img from root method, and replacing a few stock files it boots to the metro screen and gets stuck.
Lol please help.

I used tge boot.img from the XDA root guide and it boots but SystemUI and some other apps force close and eventually the Phone will reboot and start the process over.

Hey PAWGLove thank you for giving me the info. I knew there were gonna be problems just didn't know what. I have the Rom installed but I think there's an issue with the meta-inf file. I'll make a TWRP Backup instead and upload it so there won't be the issue of the meta-inf file messing up. I'll have to figure out what makes the screen freeze like it did to you because when you get it to stop bootlooping by using your boot.img from tecknights page there isn't an issue with pressing the force close buttons.

Also I think I mixed up the stock Aristo apps and stock Aristo 2 apps. So I'll rebuild the rom after thanksgiving week and upload the TWRP backup today. Again thank you PAWGLove for the imput.

Well that depends on the model of your phone. If you were able to get your phone rooted then you had to have gotten the rooted boot.img for your device. If you flashed the rom already and it got stuck in a boot-loop just reflash the boot.img you had originally to get root.

Thanks for the reply, and the TWRP backup would be awsome. Stock Rom is aids. Its so big, an im unsure which system apps are safe to uninstall without soft bricking. Thanks for breathing some life into the Aristo, thought it was dead.

The new and fixed up Rom has been uploaded. Tecknight helped me fix it up. I would appreciate it for two more eyes to join the party.

Yes, it does matter. I am uploading a new version (v2) that flashes 18 partitions on the phone with 10K stock. This should change the firmware version on your phone to 10K and it should work when flashed from 10L.
Here is the new (v2) image:

Can you boot to TWRP:
12. Remove the battery from your phone and disconnect the USB cable.

13. Re-insert the battery.

14. Hold the Vol - on your phone and press the power button.
As soon as you see the LG logo, quickly release and repress the power button.
Hold both buttons until you see a Factory Data Reset dialog.
Release both buttons and use the vol keys to highlight Yes.
Press the power button. Now use the vol keys to select Yes again and then press the power button.
Your phone will now boot into TWRP.
If you can't boot to TWRP, then flash it from fastboot.
ie:
Download TWRP:
Place the recovery.img file into the folder containing your adb and fastboot binaries.
then:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Important note about this ROM:
The installation .zip must be installed from a Micro SD as the script itself wipes the data partition early on.
This will be changed soon, but it will definitely not at present install correctly from the data partition.
The installation script checks for encrypted partitions (userdata or cache). If any are found, the encryption key is wiped and the partitions are formatted non-encrypted.
Also as this ROM includes a complete system image, no gapps install is needed.
