stock firmware for ASUS rog phone 2 ZS660KL

hello there , iwant someone to help me i am stuck , first of all i was on CN 1908.12 then i said i want to try ww version then i followed this guide :

so i downloaded ww 1906.24 after that i updated to ww 1908.12 and i don't like it so i came back to CN firmware on same thread and i flashed CN 1906.24 it is run and i get the last update via OTA 1908.21 but now i am stuck i can't download google play and if i downloaded by getting old version it work but when i restart my device it break and it force me to make factory reset so now i want to return it to full CN Rom it still have some file of WW as i see . thanks

have you fixed it yet? i think yo uneed to flash CN RAW rom...
here's the latest 1908.21, unzip, remove original zip from folder (if it's exctracted to same place) and run flashall_AFT.cmd, wait for around 10 mins with cmd open, the device will restart maybe twice, then it's done...

Thanks, I fixed today morning I flashed ww then flashed CN again and FOTA update 1908.21 now working fine .

Receiving System update failed when updating to latest WW firmware from the ASUS site. Did a factory reset and tried again same issue. Called support and opened a escalated ticket.

Download and install device info hw from playstore., under system, check that the product shows WW as well as the fingerprint... Let us know, I'm guessing that although you have a WW Rom, the fingerprint needs changing to accept updates..

Ok product shows CN_I001D, fingerprint shows CN_I001D. Description shows WW_Phone-user9 PKQ1.190414.001/160622.1906.19-0

Follow this guide to change fingerprint to WW to enable update. Note, the links have a space at the beginning that must be removed.

Do you want CN or WW? China has more bloatware and some parts still show a Chinese, but yes, you can flash the raw CN rom probably to get to CN rom, note there's a difference from a raw rom and zip rom..

I'm not sure about getting ota at this stage because your rom is WW and fingerprint is CN... Give it a go, it'll only stop /fail if it doesn't like it

What did you do? I want to insure I get all the updates, or see if I can return it.

i changed the fingerprint to WW, that way you can get updates... (forced ota by placing zip in root of internal...)

do you want to keep root, or just have stock boot and locked bootloader?

I'm happy just to keep it stock for now.

OK, you'll have to follow that whole guide in the link I provided earlier... Both parts, including relocking bootloader etc. Let me know if you get stuck. Good luck. Once you've updated fingerprint and Trim) rom to WW 1907.33 you can go ahead and flash latest 1908.21 from ota zip

edit :
- minimal adb version for rog phone 2 is 1.0.40 version 28.0.0
- maybe also an OS computer problem :
with some old windows you need a full adb version not minimal ( like the link )

im getting an error

no valid ASUS firmware zip to sideload

im on WW_Phone-16.0622.1906.19-0 trying to update to UL-ASUS_I001_1-ASUS-16.0631.1910.35-1.1.207-user.zip, i tried without renaming then I renamed it to firmware.zip and update.zip
also I get this in the normal method

Why dont you try the EDL repair method and flash the WW rom?
