Samsung Galaxy S21
So I messed my phone up somehow having a custom ROM installed. I was forced to flash the stock firmware Tar because I could not get my phone past the intro splash screen. So I have flashed both 0C3 and 0E2 firmwares for the SM-G920V. I was originally on OE2 when my problems started. So I flashed both of these firmwares with success in Odin. My problem lies after I start the phone up and finish with setup wizard. It's starts acting extremely buggy and tends to restart. I noticed this past time that the bugginess did not start until I plugged the micro USB into the phone. That's when **** hit the fan and the whole system basically just freezes up. so I've tried both these firmwares with no luck and I feel like there's something else I should be flashing in Odin. Does anyone have the bootloader file or any of the other files needed to get the phone back to working condition? Reason I ask is because when I flash firmware on my Galaxy S7 all of the files come with 4 different files to be placed in Odin didn't know if the S6 was the same or where to get those files.

The last firmware that I have tried is PI2. I know that once I go past 0E2 I can never require root again but I'm not really concerned with that at this point I just want to working phone. PI2 flashed successfully with Odin but when I reboot the phone it gets stuck on optimizing Android apps. as soon as it gets to app 23 of 31 the phone reboots and does the same thing again, can't even get to setup wizard. I've crossed posted in several threads and yet to get any feedback on what's going on. I also tried Smart Switch and the emergency recovery but every time I run it my computer just freezes up. I should also note that I have tried a factory reset both before and after all three of the firmware is a flash and still I get the same problems. Hoping someone can help me out before I break this thing with a hammer or end up having to come out of pocket for Samsung to fix it

Well I solved my own problem, not sure how. I went back to the device last night powered on and it did not get stuck at "optimizing apps' like it had before. Booted up to the setup wizard and there's no looking back.

Is unfortunate that I upgraded to PI2 and lost root forever but it had to be done. I believe there was something wrong with the bootloader so OE2 and OC3 would not function properly. Glad I've got it fixed will make a great present for my wife or daughter

Firmware post

Hey so I just bought a Galaxy S6 this morning and I noticed it's not on your list

Straight Talk-Galaxy S6
Model: SM-S907VL
Android: 6.0.1
Baseband: S907VLUDU1APG8

Unless I just overlooked it I can upload the stock rom if needed

I was trying to find a rooting method for it but I'd have no problem uploading first

Can you upload this and provide a link for me? I have been looking for the stock firmware but haven't been able to locate. Thanks.

I would but since posting that I've been unable to find a way to root or a recovery to create a flashable recovery file

I thought uploading that would be a little easier I suppose

Good Lock still does not work on Nougat, does it? Does it need to be uninstalled manually before upgrading to Nougat?

You dont need to uninstall anything!
The problem is from the app, its not supported on Nougat yet!
You should wait for app update, from play store!
Its very clear in the policy of the Update from 6 to 7 that some apps wont work untill they will be updated!

    Guys,
Let's all chill and have some fun. I have spent almost my entire Friday on fire trying to solve the same issues as you are currently experiencing with the firmware link I have posted.
Sooo... let me explain before you begin recovery (and it will work, believe me!). 1) worry not!) 2).... the whole wrong comes from Odin. No matter what version of Odin you're using (and I used 3.10.6) and what firmware are you trying to flash (original, not so original, with MD5 or without) Odin will **** up your phone and get you stuck to the bloody "Downloading" screen. For me it happened after having a custom ROM installed and trying to revert to Vodafone UK original rom (namely "G920FXXU1AOCZ_G920FVFG1AOC4_G920FXXU1AOCW_HOME.tar.md5"). DITTO! On some S6s ODIN will ruin your life and you can check that there are other similar horror stories around.

    HOW DO I FIX THIS?
Well... pretty simple! Thank God! The idea is that once you reboot you phone and it shows as stuck in "Download" screen you have to flash the "recovery.img" that is actually inside the ".TAR" or ".TAR.MD5" file you have just flashed.
To do so you have to actually put the "recovery.img" you have just extracted from the ".TAR.MD5" (or just ".TAR) into a flashable file that ODIN understands. Yes, your'e right, in a blah-blah.tar.md5 or blah-blah.tar file.
To do so I have downloaded and installed 7Zip (since it's able to mangle .tar files as opposed to WinRAR) and also downloaded a "pristine" .tar file like the TWRP recovery (e.g. twrp-2.8.6.2-zeroflte.img.tar). The TWRP fil actually contains in it a modified "recovery.img" file.
Further on I have created a copy of the TWRP recovery file and named it "my-recovery.img.tar" (or call it whatever it fits you), opened it up in 7Zip and just dragged the "recovery.img" (you have extracted previously from the exact firmware ODIN has ruined at flashing last time) over the existing one in the archive. Click OK when 7Zip will prompt you that you are going to overwrite the existing "recovery.img" and you are done.
Now simply flash the "my-recovery.img.tar" via ODIN to you S6 and once done you'll have a functional phone with the latest firmware! :)
DON'T FORGET to go into the newly created recovery and factory reset! For your own safety the CSC has to be aligned from one old firmware to the new one.
Here is the recovery image for Italy (Vodafone) 5.0.2 G920FXXU1AODG to get you out of the trouble with the latest firmware:
    my-recovery.img.tar

    ATTENTION
While the above described procedure will get you out of trouble caused by ODIN and out of the "Downloading" mode it will not actually solve the whole issue. I just discovered myself that once I tried again the same ODIN firmware re-flashing with a different firmware I got stuck to the same nightmare.
The solution is, once you go through the procedure I have described, to open up Samsung Smart Switch (the new "KIES" for S6 and S6 Edge), go to "MORE" --> "Emergency software recovery and initialization" and perform that task! I will actually re-write the latest firmware you have flashed to your phone BUT will also solve the ODIN issues. On my phone, after doing so, I was able to flash this latest Vodafone Italy I have uploaded here.
The "Emergency software recovery and initialization" procedure has to be completed BEFORE you finish the setup procedure of your S6, you know the "WiFi" / Accounts / blah, blah (after flashing the firmware) and not afterwards. It least so I discover it to work.

Please let me know how this tutorial worked for you.
