WTF? why am I unfair? I'm not demanding him to release something! at the moment mostly Ultra users who want to root their device find this thread, think it's still up to date and by the looks, most of em are noobs and therefore end up with issues. So many people complain about the Camera app FC'ing. This thread is causing more harm then good atm.

I agree. He is very capable.

However it is as if he's always doing it mostly for himself and not really for the community. All of his threads are in the same situation.

I repeat, that he's one of the best out here, but I wish he was more of a noble teacher also instead of being just the one who comes up the first with the great ideas and solutions.

I also think that he's a bit limited by the language barrier, although he's pretty decent in English.

I respect his knowledge and I'm saying this not because he doesn't do it, but because he can.

That's why i wrote instructions in my thread how to patch the files for yourself and not posted a file for folks to flash.

And they helped a lot of people including me! I was also a noob who had camera FC issues and didn't know what to do. Also after I asked you if you could provide instructions for updating without loosing data and you delivered. :good:

Boys, the tar File from geiti is NOT for the newest firmware, thats why you all are getting cam errors. You have to patch the boot.img file yourself!

Extract it
Repack it to a tar file
Patch it with magisk
Flash it via ODIN in AP slot


If you need the newest magik patched kernel for DBT, ask via DM. I don´t know how to upload here anything, lol:silly:

Hello guys
I got this S20 Ultra 5G for testing and need to return it sooner or later. Will not hurt that much as I'm not happy with that device.

I just installed the patched kernel and I didn't even install TWRP. Going back to stock is a must and I thought it's quite easy but it looks like I'm too stupid.
I just need original kernel but I'm not sure how. Help would be appreciated. Thank you

I m rooted my device after that device is rooted successfully but my mobile signal will b on emergency calls imei status shows NG now everything working except sim cards please advise wht i can do for this senior members please help to restore my device. Thanks

Short update:
I tried to flash the actual official firmware but I got an error. Didn't get thru. I think I need to flash the original Kernel first. Any help? Thank you!

Update - Problem solved
using an older FW version let me update the ROM to my phone. So it's unrooted and with a locked bootloader again. Thanks
