Sorry for being noob.. but what is the user data zip for ?
I have the g955u1 XAA and want to odin the newest att firmware.. do I need both files you uploaded or just the (AP,BL,CP,CSC)? .. what is user data for and where does it go in odin? Thanks

I have the same question, i dont use that file.
I use the AP,BL,CP, CSCHome and i did not lose any information on my device

Not sure what's going on.. but odin sits at.. file analysis.. Not sure why.. i think it's the user data file.. after I load all 5 blocks in odin it stays on file analysis.. also unzipping userdata.. gives me a tar.rar file.. so I guess you remove the (rar) at the end.. so it's just tar?

Do not remove .tar, just unzip once more to md5. Analyzing files takes up to 5 min sometimes
On Edge of Galaxy
After the first unzip of user data I get tar.rar
If I try to unzip the tar.rar I get an error
No archives found
If I double click the tar.rar it says it's archive is unknown or damaged. .... I downloaded it many times and still the same

I i have winrar... 7zip. Tried both same problem.. the user data is corrupted
I downloaded it again makes 7 times I tried

Thanks people!! I got it to work.. downloaded again.. updated 7zip.. and extracted both times with only 7zip.. winrar keeps giving me problems even after update.. idk.. but thanks.. Sorry or all the litter on the post.
