Although I'm not gay ... yes, rooting should work like on XWLSW.
But I recommend to flash corresponding PhilZ kernel zip in stock recovery.

There is a stock XWLSW with Italian CSC on SamMobile.
Or you can flash the latest XWMS1 stock ROM ... why do you need this version?
Is it about the UK CSC or do you have other reasons?

As the CSC only contains network/carrier specific "bloatware" (sometimes also media files), it's not that important IMO, as long as you can connect to your mobile network/carrier.
(The language support is in the ROM itself, and not depending on the CSC.)

I have this ROM tar file locally, but uploading will take some hours for me ... that's why I'm trying to avoid it.
Just let me know, if you "really" need this stock ROM version.

Thanks for the info ... now I found it.
Via "Check your firmware", you can get this stock ROM version ... only need to register at SamMobile first.
So no need to mirrow this ROM.

Yes, should work fine without wipe.
The European firmwares have the main European languages ... such as German.

OK! I can confirm that it works fine without any data wipe. I flashed the belgian version using mobile odin. And German language, actually all major languages including russian and Arabic, are available.


Good to be on the lates STock revision.

As faryaab and all admins from that site has to upload one by one the fws and they will start with the newest devices first

Sounds like a bad/corrupt download.
I recommend to install and use Chainfire's Mobile Odin app to flash stock ROMs (when you are already rooted).
And why don't you just flash the latest NeatROM which is also based on XWMS1?
