Howd you get radio and webtop to flash?

I got everything to flash (boot, radio, system, and webtop) but I get the same data error:

I've been reading over and over, twice often, but I am still confused. It seems every time I finally understand, another ROM or acronym is introduced (i.e. Cheesecake, fruitcake...) and I start at square one. My question is, does the ROM require altering the bootloader? And is it safe to flash back with the 1.83 SBF? Thanks for your help, and I apologize in advance if this is previously answered, I just can't see it!

I just used the command moto-fastboot.exe flash IMG_NAME IMG_NAME.img, for example:

moto-fastboot.exe flash webtop webtop.img

You need an unlocked bl to use moto fastboot. You can safely use rsd to go back from this

If I flash to 2.3.4 what will happen when the real ota comes out? Will I be able to update future updates after official ota is released with this rom?

Is this basically the same as the ota we will be getting?

OTA has a script called install_recovery.sh

it can be found in /system/recovery or /etc/recovery

open the file and empty it out, save

sbf pudding

fastboot cwm

cwm any rom.

Im guessing we need android sdk and to ADB it to the phone right?
If so where to we put the files so adb can find them?

Easy way to find out if you have an upgraded BL (bootloader) due from applied OTA update.zip

1. Turn off Phone
2. Hold Vol down button
3. Turn on Phone
4. Wait until "fastboot" tag show up then press Vol down until "Android Recovery" tag show up
5. Now Press Vol up
6. Your phone will show up the attached screem right (Android guy with yellow Triangle and exclamation mark)

IF YOU HAVE AN UPDATED BL due GB OTA your touchscreen will DID NOT RESPOND for any input, TRY to PRESS RIGHT LOWER BOTTOM of the SCREEN if nothing happen and then the only way to pass this screen is PRESS BOTH VOL DOWN + VOL UP at the same time and show up the menu of the new Android Recovery (E3) on the top of the screen ----> YOU HAVE UPDATED BOOTLOADER AND YOU CAN NOT RSD ANY PREVIOUS SBF's (1.83/1.57/1.26)

if in other hands when you reach Android Recovery and still pass the screen with Android guy and yellow triangle/exclamantion mark "PRESSING THE RIGHT LOWER BOTTOM of the screen" it seem you still have an OLD bootloader and maybe you can RSD to a previus SBF's

It seem a lot of people dont know for sure what they applied if a simple fastboot/CDW GB room or indeed they applied the OTA GB

SO PLEASE READ AND FIRST FIND OUT WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR PHONE BEFORE YOU DO A STUPID THING AND MAKE ATT/MOTOROLA more rich buying a new phone due to HARD BRICK

this stock rom really is a base rom that dev's are using and creating optimzed versions for.
try flashing kennethpenns rom or the fruitcake version in CWM
they are very stable stock roms with slight optimizations and bug fixes.
this stock rom has a few bugs that kennethpenn already fixed in his edited rom.

thanks. got the webtop installed. my lapdock is working and soooo much better than the last release!

Touchscreen not working

Hello everybody,

After, boot and image flash on a 1.8.3 version.
The system is able to boot but the touchscreen is not responding anymore....
The only button still responding is the power button.

Do you have any ideas???

I got the right one afterwards and got it to work but can confirm I only have 300MB or ram as well....so damn slow....lol....

Did you find a workaround? I have the same issue
