update.app in a dload folder on your SD card. Phone switched off then both volume buttons and power on. It didn't wipe the phone.
I tried that. The only thing I see is the bootlogo, from other sources I know that /dload/update.app - install should show the state of installation.

Or do I need to use the internal "SD card" ?

could someone please post a quick guide to install the stock Huawei p9 rom onto the VodafoneAU version to debrand it? someone in this topic said that its possible but didn't really go in-depth on how to actually do it properly.

Would really appreciate this instead of having to follow a different guide that requires me to download all these files, root my phone, and install a custom recovery when it could be much simpler than that..

Hi all!

I've uploaded the stock ROM dload file for the P9, version B136 for the EVA-L09 variant.

Copy the dload folder to a microSD card, turn off the phone and turn it back on with no PC connected*cable inserted, holding both volume buttons. Make sure you have plenty of battery left. Your device will likely be wiped.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Thank you very much for this it looks relatively simple to do but would you be able to advise me if I need any preliminary software or if I need to do anything prior to installing this update aside backing up of course. Is there a plan B in case there is potential for my phone to be bricked. If I were to in future self this device to a shop would they be able to tell that this was not a genuine update directly from Huawei?

Did you ever debrand the phone or are you on a custom rom? If you have tinkered with your phone than its probably a EVA-AL00 debranded to EVA-L09

Actually I bought this phone in a little bit used condition without any box packing , dont know what is done before. *#*#0000#*#* also shows eva-L09
Now , How to proceed for an update ? setting shows no update (its running 6.0)

Than someone changed the case and it's hopefully a EVA-L09. In the worst case it's a fake phone. I think you should just try, but make a backup, to be sure. You could flash a stock rom from this thread or use one of the custom roms.

This update give some errors after 10-15%. I install another update.app but got somehow firmware is not full.
Some apps are missing - camera and etc -> example.
this package are for marshmalow, not nuget what you are using, thats why you got error.

find all things you need to succesfuly downgrade p9 from nuget to marshmalow, then aply thease steps, and all be ok with this package posted here

Two days I am looking for all kind of update.app, but no result. I think I will brick the phone if continuing. Can you help me with that?
I want to delete everything and make it fresh again.
How to find MM, which number they are?
May be using firmware finder will have them to download.
Also steps about updating. First use update.app from update.zip then all files from data.zip correct?

This was the first that I try, I think this is MM?

May be I will try to unlock the bootloader again, install twrp, flash some stock ROM and then relock the bl again.
