Will this work on L19 dual sim modell?

---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:24 PM ----------

It'd be awesome if there was a brave soul there to try this with the Chinese version :) Maybe I will be that person and dump $600 down the toilet :)
Do u have the dual sim or singel sim Chinese version?

It will flash correctly, or it will refuse to flash and not change anything on your phone. Probably not a good idea to try and force flash on a non EU device.
Are you positive? If so, I am going for it.

Btw, I have not rooted or unlocked the bootloader or anything like that. So, put the sd card in and follow @paulobrien's instructions???

Thanks

Maybe I wasn't clear. It will either flash correctly or it will fail. Huawei ROMs perform several checks at the beginning to see if the device is compatible. Not compatible = nothing is changed.

No harm in trying the ROM on your device. If it fails to flash then personally I would not try and force flash.

No, I got you. If it doesn't flash, no harm no fault.

Hello brave soul! I'm watching and waiting for your test! We have the same phones and I am very keen to know if this works. Juts out of curiosity why do you want to move away from Chinese model ROM? We get all the updates much faster than the others.
Well...there are lots of things I do not like about the Chinese version, so that's why I'd rather have the global/euro version. I am guessing that the unlocked global version or the euro version gets the updates just as fast as the Chinese version.

That being said, I have not tried it. I think I will just sell this and buy the unlocked global version even though it is 3GB RAM

Can this be uploaded to the EVA 00 as well ? or do I need there least a root ? / unlocked bootloader etc.

Thanks

Hi all!

I've uploaded the stock ROM dload file for the P9, version B136 for the EVA-L09 variant.

Copy the dload folder to a microSD card, turn off the phone and turn it back on with no PC connected*cable inserted, holding both volume buttons. Make sure you have plenty of battery left. Your device will likely be wiped.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Be careful if you use this ROM to switch from another ROM version as there are reports that the version it ends up installing - C900B136 - is NOT compatible with Android Pay. Several people have reported this issue including myself.

it is that I have updated my mobile vodafone with the free rom that exists in the forum and this happens to me: I come from a rom vodafone and There is a thing that I do not understand: programs have eliminated me as of huawei backup, that of mirror and the program of topics has eliminated the option to unload topics only the predetermined ones come. That has happened? Is this normal? Thank you pardon for my Englishman
Another important thing we will receive updates auntomáticas with this rom

I haven't flashed my Vodafone P9 yet, but have taken a backup of oeminfo and custom.bin if you need them.
I have these already but thank you.

So we've found that similar to the Mate 8 and other Huawei devices, writing the oeminfo from the unbranded EU model onto the Vodafone model, then flashing the full stock ROM (update.app, dt and hw directories) debrands the device fully and sets the ROM version to C432B136.

It's important that oeminfo matches to the ROM being used. If it doesn't then the device has a product mismatch and it breaks device security so Android Pay fails to work.

Looking into an easy way to change oeminfo on the P9 now, possibly through TWRP.

Sounds good! Let me know if you want me to test anything. I still haven't got round to updating so am happy to be a guinea pig for your new setup.
