Hi all!

I've uploaded the stock ROM dload file for the P9, version B136 for the EVA-L09 variant.

Copy the dload folder to a microSD card, turn off the phone and turn it back on with no PC connected*cable inserted, holding both volume buttons. Make sure you have plenty of battery left. Your device will likely be wiped.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I have the EVA-L09C636B134 on my Taiwanese version of the P9-L09. I assume that I can flash the EVA-L09C432B136 version with no issues? Assume that Android Pay will work too?

Thanks in advance!

I am a little confused so any help would be great! I have AL00 and I want to make it all English with the ROM that has the best android integration

  1. Which ROM do I download?
  2. Will I need to root my phone to do this?
  3. Will i still get ROM updates automatically like I do now?

What is the folder name to copy to sdcard? Is it "dload" or "download"?

dload - create it if its not there.

I suggest you read every firmware thread in this sub forum - get familiar with the process :) lots of good intel

and PauloBrioen's Thread you have quoted above is spot on for swapping your firmware over.

I tried to flash it EVA-DL00C178B168 but it failed. Am I cursed with the chinese ROM? :(

Edit: I tried different versions but none worked. Do you have any suggetions how to get an international firmware on my DL00? Thank you

yes - read paulobrians post changing your OEMFILE (which dictates which firmware you can use - based on country / location)

Sorry, but I can't find any post in this thread by paulobrian describing how to change your EOMINFO file (and where such file is located OR how to flash such a file on your device for that matter...). Please try to be more specific.

It's not in this thread. Look at the posts in this sub forum and you will see one started by Paul regards the oemfile. If this is causing you grief.. don't mess with your phone
