I had this problem last night with L09. Here is what I did:

  1. Made sure the directory structure was correct on sdcard for the dload folder.
  2. Relocked bootloader
  3. Performed a factory reset
  4. Powered off phone and disconnected USB cable
  5. Held both up and down volume and turned phone on
  6. Phone updated
If the phone gets stuck on 5% during the update then I've performed an install on the default recovery and repeated the steps above from number 3.
Thank you for your help. I've tried to relock the bootloader with SRK tool but it was unsuccessful because of root and I can't unroot.. Hmmmm
How did you unroot and relock your bootloader ? :)

Yeah I had this problem too! The damn phone wouldnt unrooted!

Here is everything I tried:

I put the phone into manufacturer mode: by dialing this: * # * # 2 8 4 6 5 7 9 # * # * then I tried to lock the bootloader, I also tried to reinstall TWRP over the stock recovery via SRK Tool, in the end I got a verification failure when i booted the phone and the power off and volumes trick did the job, i got past the 5% lock on the update and it worked.

For me, the secret was to get that update installing from the dload folder, that basically unrooted my phone.

Hi Guys
Sorry for late but I have personal problems
about the country number its for c185
how to install it on rooted device ?
you need to full unroot , then install stock recovery and relock bootloader by fastboot command > fastboot oem relock xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and change the x with the 16th number you got it from emui website
after relock the bootloader , copy the dload file to sd card and flash it
how to full unroot ?
go to supersu app
go to settings and scroll down
click on full unroot

Yes... I tried this method and i used "Unroot" apk but it was not successful. First I have to unroot after I can re-lock bootloader....
This is the reason why I ask about the force update....

Finally successfully stocked my phone. I was on rooted unlocked bootloader but I could not unroot and lock the bootloader. I force flashed the latest rom. Now almost everything is fine but I can't download the 166 update. But the warning message during the boot is gone.....
