[STOCK ROM][FTF] (C6602) v4.2.2 10.3.A.0.423 Generic TW (Unbranded/Taiwan)

I flashed this .423 TW rom couple of days back with complete wipe (was on stock .253 india rom before). Everything seems to work fine here (no lags etc.) except one minor bug/issue. Whenever I shut down and then startup the phone, there appears a screenshot of lockscreen/homescreen for a split second just prior to sony boot up screen. I even repaired using SUS but this issue remains , weird! Nothing of this sort occurs in the previous sony roms. Anybody else having this issue?

I have never heard of such bug..it isn't harmful to your device though, and you needn't wipe your device everytime you flash something.. Just uncheck the data and cache partitions in the wipe menu of the flashtool.. If still the bug annoys u, you could download the .423 for C6602 by [NUT] and flash it.. That's what I use and its perfect..Cheers

yo ya instale el firmware de jelly bean 4.2.2 con la rom de taiwan y todo esta bien!! el modelo que tengo es el c6602, lo actualice a la que sigue .307 y despues en el sony xperia z me aparecio la actualizacion sin necesidad de hacer mas cosas. te recomiendo que bajes la rom .307 de taiwan si tienes en tu celular .253 para que la actualizacion te llegue por si sola en el sony xperia Z c6602 : Bueno:

It seemed that battery drains lot more quickly. Am I right? And the main process, after screen, that drinks all fuel is "Mediaserver". Any thoughts?

*backup* partial wakelock

have uninstalled gtalk , google+ , yet that wakelock keeps on coming dont know where from.



for the backup wakelock i had to uncheck automatically backup to google server, since then the backup wakelock is not coming anymore.


the phone seems laggy after flashing , dont know whether to go back to previous rom or no.

After some time I realized that battery is not too bad and some little lags in interface is not so painful. And you can use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.mguard for cleaning cache (may help for performance) and tasks (performance + battery). Also if you flashed from 4.1.2 to this rom without data and cache wipe, I can suggest to reflash it with wipe.

I have an issue. I installed this ROM on my C6002. Works flawlessly * almost. When I'm listening to music using my headphones I don't get the widget in the lock screen to skip tracks. If I don't have headphone then I get it. What gives?

That is some serious problem you got there..I've never seen such happen..maybe you could flash another firmware or you could wait for an update..
