No. The baseband is the same in all 10.5.1.A.0.283 roms, so flash the complete FTF.

I just flashed to the 4.4.4. FW for my xperia Z C6603 and it was a success. But problem is i cannot get LTE working on my phone. I checked the service menu (#*#*SERVICE#*#*) on software info>configuration and LTE is not on the working bands. Is this possible for a Z C6603 not to have LTE band? I bought this new and updated it to 4.4.4. Problem is i did not check first if LTE was on the working bands since i checked mobile networks and i see the LTE preferred option. About info and bottom of the phone says model C6603.

Can anyone give some insights as to why this is the case on my Z?

Hey, want to first point out that I am using Google Translate. Are you sure that your mobile carrier supports 4G? or that your subscription is 4G?

Just the idea of having to reset everything and start from a blank slate puts me off...

Maybe, maybe not. It's worked for me sometimes, other times it hasn't. Alternatively, download an ftf and flash with flashtool, but untick wipe data.
