but the battery life is very good (no battery drain (no wakelock mmc1_detect).
A very good Rom. We waited long enough.

Or should I just flash kernel, baseband and fota to get the right system?

At last! A .253 which contains the Sony Account Manager.

I took advantage of the Xperia Privilege offer and couldn't watch any of the movies I purchased on any of the previous .253 releases.

You will receive new updates together with Germany, which is rather late, but still earlier than the United Kingdom

Can I go back to my original firmware? (Locked Bootloader/No Root)
And, is it better to use Flashtool v0.9.10.2 beta6 or beta4 version for flashing?

You can do it by yourself, using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183077

But I saw, that the baseband version is the same as in [nuts] rooted .zip, so I don`t know if it`s really needed to update with this one.

Hi I keep getting this error when trying to extract these files

CRC failed in 'C6603_10.1.1.A.1.253_Generic [email protected] File is broken

I've downloaded twice, using 7zip to extract.

Any Help?

Did you download both parts and put them in the same folder?
Can you check if their file sizes (in bytes) and/or MD5 sums match with the values on the download page?

Checked md5, both fine, size is right. Does it matter if I have them on an external drive?

No, that shouldn't matter. It's strange, because over 100 people have already downloaded these files. I'm currently downloading them myself to check.

First I had a corrupted download with Mozilla Firefox (MD5 did not match).
Then I downloaded again with Internet Explorer, after which the MD5s matched and the FTF extracted fine, both with WinRAR and 7-Zip.

I think you'll first have to flash 10.1.A.1.434 Generic DE, root it and then perhaps you can do an OTA update to 10.1.1.A.1.253 (if available) and retain root.
