Download this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2209637
And install it as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240614
Root your phone with this (if you want): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460

And make the .235 update OTA.
Make sure you don't remove any bloatware after you isntalled .434, because the OTA won't work if anything is missing!
Root will remain after the .235 OTA update.

Regards,
iCEQB
No other way to change to this from a rooted .235? other than downgrade, root, then update OTA?

Well I don't know :D
I did it like this and it worked w/o any issues and only took like 20 minutes to do.
I'm no expert so I didn't wanted to experiment to much, so I took the "long" road.

One question. If I change something in build.prop e.g. for NFC icon am I still able to update via ota?
I didn't change any other system file.

Sent from my Xperia Z using XDA premium

Thanks for your work.

Is it possible to delete the pre-installed apps (McAfee) without root?
These apps can be removed without root: Adobe Reader, Evernote, File Commander, Let's start PSM, McAfee Security, NeoReader, OfficeSuite, PlayNow, Small Browser, TrackID, Video Unlimited, WhatsApp.

yes it's possible if it's bundled app (not a system one). In particular, McAfee is bundled, so no problem to delete it via standard app manager.

Thank you guys! Installing it right now ... And of course waiting for the 4.2.2 update :)!

Which Vodafone branding do you have? Could you please check your customization number (can be found in your service menu: dial *#*#7378423#*#* > 'Service info' > 'Software info' > 'Customization Version') and look it up in this list?
