yes i've got myXperia update only

but , i check the walkman , movies , album is not the latest version

also , there is no new apps available such as movie creator

so , i have to install it manually ( download the apk and then execute it to update )

Thats strange bro. I am using this firmware as base and i have got all media apps via update centre..

Also , i just notice this afternoon , when using camera , when the lens is focusing to an object , clicking sound comes ocassionaly from the back of phone ( in the lens i think ) it appears 2 or 3 times , not always

Is that normal ?
I never notice that clicking sound before

1. Camera focus is slightly better.
2. When flash was used in low light, there used to be blue hue on sides of the pic which is solved now.
3. Notification bar doesn't lag when its full of notifications.
4. Missing security patches are added.

No. If you want to enable it you need to edit your build.prop. You need to set ro.nfc.icon.enable to true.
You can use build prop editor to do it (requires root).

I don't know. Are Flashtool drivers installed and did you flash in flashmode?
Follow part 3 of my guide here to flash. Part 1 will help with installing drivers if you need to do that.

Yes. Make sure to wipe data when flashing. You will be left with a stock, unrooted rom and your bootloader will still be unlocked.

Hello,

I downloaded the .zip file from the first post. When I extract it (with windows explorer, 7zip and WinRAR), it results in a folder (Type: File folder (.ftf)), instead of a ftf-file.

How can I get the ftf-file, which can be read directly by the flashtool?

I also tried to create a ftf-file with flashtool using the contents of the ftf-Folder, but the resulting file just gives an error message when I try to use it for flashing in the flashtool.

You can create your own ftf file with flashtool. Just click on the XperiFirm symbol and choose the firmware you want. Then flashtool will create the ftf file.

Firefox had caused the problem, it somehow added the .zip ending by itself. With Internet Explorer, I could do the download without any issues.

My version of Flashtool somehow didn't have the XperiFirm symbol.

You have to update you flashtool. Glad you sort it out.
