Is there any stock rom of 5.1 version? I realised now, after 4 years with my phone, that maybe the 5.1.1 update in that time ****ed up the external sound of my xperia z. I have to speak through the hands free. I only hear the sound of the music or YT if i have the headphones on. But notifications work good. It's just the external sounds, the voice notes, the music...

I downgraded to 4.2.2 and now the sounds is working fine after so many time. It's weird to be able to hear all sounds without headphones.. So i want to try to flash 5.0.2 or 5.1 to see if the sounds are working or not.

4.4.4 is the best version for this phone, not sure about the custom ones as not tried yet

Oh you can flash stock firmware with locked bootloader mate, I suspect he will have to flash the stock boot kernels or something first. But have to see what his error is first

I dont think you have to lock the boot loader using flashtool, androx flashtool shouldnt care. Make sure that you wipe your Data and Cache and Exclude nothing. Post picture of log please
