So check it out, I used this 4.2.2 update, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2356455. It was super easy to do and only took about 5 minutes or so once it started flashing. I was on stock TMo firmware and didn't change anything, just followed the instructions from the link I provided and was good to go! I am coming from an HTC and Samsung environment so this was different but easy in the end.

Did you still have lte support after flashing and did you flash the modem as well?

Edit: Nevermind, went ahead and flashed it...lte is there but not in mobile settings, lol.

Did you flash everything (baseband, system, etc.)?
Could you check your working bands in your service menu?
Dial *#*#7378423#*#* > 'Service info' > 'Configuration' > 'Working band/s'.

LTE band 4 (AWS) is still listed, so it should work on T-Mobile US. Did you check if LTE is still enabled in 'Settings' > 'More...' > 'Mobile networks' > 'Network Mode' ?
Yes it's still enabled in my settings everything is working but like I said at home I have hspa and getting about 12mbps but at work lte so was justmaking sure half my area Is refarmed but again it's in settings and thanks much

yes, lte on the 6606 still works with 6603/6602 roms.
for a lte quick toggle be sure to use a 6603 rom.

for 4g/h+ type icons etc experiment with different region roms. I prefer the low key look of the spain 6603 rom, very subtle lte symbol. typically in the US you get huge in your face "hey look at me icons"

So let me see if I understand this....you can flash either a 6602 or 6003 ROM on the 6606 and LTE will work? Okay, I flashed a 6602 ROM but I don't use the LTE much BUT if I want to use LTE I have to flash the 6003 ROM? Is there anyway to turn on/off LTE on a 6602 ROM?

Thanks in advance.

Let will work on either because u have the hardware but if you want to be able to toggle it off go with the 6603 ftf because it won't have it in settings on the 6602 ftf
Update from mixed opinions I'd have to say I can only confirm lte in 6603 roms many say you get iron 6602 some say not but I can only confirm 6606 flashed with 6603 retains lte:)

I flashed unbranded nordic 6603 rom on my 6606, and I lost the LTE icon in the status bar. Now sometimes its says 4G or H+. Am I still getting LTE? My APN is epc.tmobile.com. Do I need to change any APN settings to get true LTE with T-Mobile USA? Is the lack of an LTE icon brvause of the ROM?
