[STOCK ROM][FTF] Xperia Z C6606_10.1.1.B.0.166_T-Mobile US

I flashed unbranded nordic 6603 rom on my 6606, and I lost the LTE icon in the status bar. Now sometimes its says 4G or H+. Am I still getting LTE? My APN is epc.tmobile.com. Do I need to change any APN settings to get true LTE with T-Mobile USA? Is the lack of an LTE icon brvause of the ROM?

Yes you still get lte,I live where there's lte only in areas and I did a test while holding both my one and xz when I'm at home it says 4g on my one and h+ on my xz when I go to work it says lte on my one and 4g on my xz and there speeds match there for we are just getting a 4g when in true lte and the h when in hspa which is right instead of t-mobile calling hspa 4g anyways

As far as apn I copied the fast t-mobile out my one and put in my xz and my mms works also if u need it let me know

So mine shows that it uses everything is that correct? Each band it supports? I don't get t mobile but I do have 1900 and 850 so I get full att 3G at least. Good so I don't have to sell it when going to the USA. Sweet.

Not sure how but it works fully ,I don't think they come with 1700 on my box it shows let runs on band 4
Yeah I see on the site it supposed to have it I don't know,I mean software don't take away bands I'm not sure if it just don't show it or if it's really gone but I get hspa,and lte full strong signal I did alto of testing the last two days not sure about that band though I know everyone who uses a 6603 Rom on a 6606 has not had any prob yet

Well it worked for the Canadians the got lte working on the xperia z after flashing some bands.

Yeah but there 6603 had the band 7 in there hardware they just flashed software to use it that's why it don't work on the 6602 I don't think it has the band

That's not LTE is H+ dual band ...that's why you getting this speed but your LTE radio is not working

Under apn names, just change the "epc" to "fast". so it should say fast.tmobile.com

From my understanding, for LTE to work on 6602 ftf's, you have to select to exclude the baseband while flashing with flashtool and then manually enter the fast.t-mobile.com apn. Otherwise you're just getting HSPA+42 speeds. LTE upload speeds are always over 6 Mbps, and I can usually pull 23 down, 10 up in KC area with good signal.

It's an option in the flashtool program, you just check the box next to "baseband" in the exclude area.

I was trying to revert back to the stock T-Mobile rom and it would just boot loop. I'm not rooted and only used Flashtool. Is there something I'm missing? I had to reflash the Spain rom to get it working again. What should I do? Just so you know I choose not to wipe data like I did when updating to 4.2.2. Thanks.
