Para amenizar o problema com o lag na rolagem eu ativei "Forçar renderização GPU", mas ainda percebo o lag na barra de notificações.
Quanto ao gasto acentuado de bateria, ativei o modo stamina e o brilho automático, e desativei:
a) sincronização automática;
b) GPS / localização (faço uso apenas quando necessário);
c) a opção de deixar o wi-fi ativo no modo de repouso (percebi que estava consumindo cerca de 7℅ da bateria), assim como a "Verificação sempre disponível";
d) Google+, pois estava sugando a bateria em demasia. Não sei o motivo, mas em uma ocasiao ocorreu o mesmo com um Nexus 7 que tenho, fui dormir e deixei o tablet com carga total, ao acordar ele estava com apenas 30℅ e a causa foi o Google+. Limpei os dados do app e voltou ao normal. No nexus eu não cheguei a desativar o app. Obs: nos dois casos nunca usei o app do Google+.
Depois dessas providências o meu Xperia ZQ/ZL passou a ter um consumo de bateria razoável, com médias de 22 até 26 horas em um uso moderado para intenso. Entretanto com a versão anterior, Android 4.3, a média superava 30 horas com o mesmo uso.
Outro problema encontrado foi o aquecimento exacerbado do aparelho, chegando a ocorrer com o simples uso do navegador Chrome por alguns intantes.
Espero que a Sony libere o quanto antes um update para corrigir esses problemas.
