i bet it will be ICS! The 4.0.3 ICS Rom is listed there fresh for the Galaxy S2!new firmware coming soon on samfirmwarestay tuned ... shhhhhhhh !!!
Odin wasn't meant for consumers. It's their internal toolI think samsung should really decide and say whether they want us to upgrade our handsets via Kies or via Odin !! We are getting a new firmware almost every month to use with Odin rather than Kies which offers a new firmware once in 6 or even more months...I come from SII and i was begging Kies to give me a new firmware![]()
I was about to bring this up again, people don't seem to read through threads at all. Do nandroid backup, flash, restore nandroid data partition. done. It's working well since well, when did I flash? Too long ago, thats for sureschaggo mentioned that he restored his data partition with nandroid after flashing this wipe ROM and it's working fine for him.
Yes, this one works always, on any ROM to come (in the near future).does the ever root option work on LA1 kernel?
Or any other custom kernel for that matter. AbyssNote as well as FM also include the custom recovery.you need to flash a cfroot kernel
I lost about that, what do u mean?thanks for the info
What about Samsung dialer with lcd density?
I tried that, but at Nandroid restore i get a message saying "something mismatch", i cant remeber well the wording of that message, but it did'nt work. I had to use mybackup which is not a clean restore solution.Originally Posted by eug

When I change the LCD density to for example 160 within KL7 and KL8 then when opening the dialer to dial the number to make a phone call it will Force CloseI lost about that, what do u mean?
Had the MD5 mismatch problem when trying to restore from CWM recovery, then I used CWM App and it worked fine...I tried that, but at Nandroid restore i get a message saying "something mismatch", i cant remeber well the wording of that message, but it did'nt work. Please explain how you manage to restore with Nandroid your datas from old to LA1 ROM? Which CWM version?

Since installing LA1 (and restoring "data" through CWM app, I know, not good!) I have lost Picasa integration in Gallery, I tried clearing Data for the app, but it still only sees internal pics...any idea to make it work again please? Thanks.
Unfortunatey I can't help u, never done a density changement (I won't even know how to)When I change the LCD density to for example 160 within KL7 and KL8 then when opening the dialer to dial the number to make a phone call it will Force Close
This problem was not with the KK9 whatever the density of the LCD is
ThanksYes you can apply cfroot from LA1;
No it wont wipe your device.
