For what it's worth I was on the phone with Acer tier 2 Support two days ago and got to talking a little with the guy, and he indicated that it was likely(not 100% sure) that it would still get OTA updates, but that they would likely attempt to revert the system to a stock non-rootable, non-unlockable state.

I have managed to brick my tab by flashing a stock rom (recovery.img) included via cwm this caused this errors.
boot/recovery verified failed depending on which i try to acess.
Because of this i want to know if its possible to recover using the euu via apx.
In that case i would need help on how to flash via apx as i have never used it before.

I just tried it and it works for me but does give me over limit and to try again in 22 hours to download again =(. If you have a dropbox account I can link you to my private folders and you can DL from there. PM me.
I'll try to use dropbox again. I dont have a lot of of stuff in my public so I dont really know why its saying that its generating too much traffic. Weird.
Ok here is the latest ICS OTA (thanks to NewWizz for providing link to 2.007.4 HC was able to get ICS OTA) that I grabbed and decrypted when I updated mine to ICS yesterday. From what I hear its the same as the leaked one but I'm not 100% sure. From time to time my dropbox gets disabled for too much traffic so you may need to retry later.
To root just use ZeroNulls method in the dev section.
It seems you may have to do the small HC update below (v02.013.04) then you can do the ICS one.

I've tried this on v02.007.04. It may or may not work on your version. but if it doesnt work it will take you back to your original and wont allow the update. So you can always try it if you want. But just to add I have gone from different version of gen1 to gen2 and even leaked ICS and its always worked.
So do the small update first then do the ICS one.

i have a totally stock a100 that recieved ICS OTA. its completely stock except ive rooted it.
now...in collaboration with skrillax i have been working to properly find our sbk. previously failed because the a200 bootloader was causing our cpuid to report incorrectly. (hence why im staying stock for this) and the euu reported bad cpuid.
now..since im on stock ics update..the euu in the OP loads up and specifically says this after checking image versions "please update to newer euu software" and thats pretty much it! so i am wondering if you possibly have access to a newer euu?

Hy all,
I flashed it and it rebooted, but now its in the splash "Android" screen.
How log am I supposed to wait until its done.
I waited about 15 min.
What can I do to start it?

10the Multiupload files both are corrupted after I download. Cant open or the tab give an error when trying to install to phone. Is this legit?

Ok so doing more googling I found the update.zip is encrypted by Acer. You will need to use this decrypting tool.

Rename the original downloaded file from the multiupload link to just "update" or whatever you want to call it. The decrypter couldnt find the file till I shortened the name. Open the decrypter and select "input". Look for the renamed zip file and press "Start". The output will be transferred to the same directory as the original but up to you if you want to change output directory. Somehow the decrypter slowed down my windows XP so I had to close everything but the decrypter. The new file will be called in my case "updatedecrypted.zip". Unzip the file and inside you will find a txt file, AMSS.zip, and an update.zip. This update.zip is what you want to copy to the root of your sd card.
So again to flash:
1. Turn off tablet
2. Hold the top volume button close to power button first then press the POWER button.
3. Wait for the text in the corner of the screen to show up so you know it's going to recovery.
4. Release both buttons.
5. You will see the green android with moving gears and progress bar on the bottom.
6. Sit and wait......
7. The progress bar will all of a sudden stop at about 85% of the way. DONT PANIC and DONT start holding the power button to reset it.
8. The progress bar will stay in that spot for about a minute then the tablet will reboot.
9. The tablet will be stuck at the "android" screen for a while (I think about 3 minutes) again dont panic and just wait. Eventually it will boot completely.
10. Now jump and down, scream and shout with joy that you are now on 3.2.1. Ofcourse you can always go to setting to confirm before you rejoice.
11. I would probably recommend doing factory reset.
12. Last but not least thank the appropriate people that provided the links and the decrypter.

As far as difference with the previous one I posted, it seems just a tad smoother and I'm not sure if its placebo but the touch seems to respond better (tested it with touchUtil app). And ofcourse the audio speaker/headset bug fix still in effect here. Haven't played with it too much to notice any other differences.
